  1. Jims Simms has left Hull and signed for Wythenshawe
  2. Might not be a bad thing if they did, given how they passed us off the park at their place. Not sure they'd fancy a bit of Mellonball.
  3. Only one person is talking about that. Repeatedly.
  4. Can we try not to get this thread locked please? It's nearly 11 years old.
  5. Yeah no points for anyone unfortunately
  6. Anyone get a programme today with it in?
  7. Has anyone actually nominated him? https://www.gov.uk/honours
  8. Plenty of empty seats in their MSP section too.
  9. The block at the back nearest the main stand wasn't open.
  10. Be some good money going for fans wishing to sell their QR code for the game...
  11. Mellon has had 19 league games (1.79ppm). Unsworth had 47 (1.21ppm). He had plenty of time, it was clear it wasn't working. He's had no pre season. He's inherited most of the players. The players he has been able to bring in are mostly those under contract but not wanted/not fit. He's basically trying to polish a turd, and doing it reasonably successfully.
  12. I'll take an average of over 2 points per game. If you call that abysmal then you'll never be happy.
  13. But we've played better against the "better" teams, and shat our pants against some of the lesser lights.
  14. Before yesterday we'd won three of the last four at home in the league.
  15. Does he get an easy ride? Do you want him under more pressure? Or shall we just let him deliver the job he's employed for?
  16. 8 of yesterday's starting 11, and 2 of the 3 subs introduced, were here before MM was appointed. It's not the managers fault that pretty much none of them can consistently pass the ball to a team mate. He's recognised this, and usually sets us up to give us the best chance of winning despite this - and more often that not it works. The players he's brought in at least hint towards a more competent team, but come with fitness issues. We'll probably make the playoffs this year, as the league is pretty shit, but even if we don't/don't go up via them, we'll more than likely be a challenger next year. The mentality of "well we've binned off Unsy, we should win every game now with complete dominance" just shows how clueless many of our fans are.
  17. City game Grimsby game Huddersfield FA cup - 12,749 Blackpool playoffs - 12,154 QPR playoffs - 12,152 Bolton FA cup - 12,029 Liverpool game Northampton 2006 (some sort of ticket offer?) - 10,207 Leeds 2007 - 10,054 They're the +10k attendances in recent years.
