He won’t be at Cheltenham next year trust me. As for winding me up, the club in their infinite wisdom gave him the contract, it’s not ideal but unfortunately they have to honour it! I’m glad it’s not my money!!

His attitude out on the pitch is a good pointer and the fact that Mellon sussed him out fairly quickly backs that up I think too. I don’t think he wants it enough and coasts through games and plays half arsed. Mellon likes a runner and he’s definitely not one of those…..He’s probably gone to Cheltenham just to get away from here for a while….it wouldn’t surprise me if he packed it in all together at the end of his contract. Its only my opinion.

I shouldn’t think that will bother the likes of Nuttall as I don’t think he is that that arsed about playing football at all.

There’s a chance that Willoughby might stay at Ayr as he’s had a fair amount of game time and has scored a goal or two but he’s a fair way from home and might not want to move to Scotland permanently. I don’t think there’s a cat in hell’s chance of Nuttall staying with Cheltenham, he’s getting very little game time and is enduring the wrath of the supporters already! Unfortunately, I think we’re stuck with him for another season. As for Ward, Shelton & Reid I think we may have to offer them some sort of settlement to encourage them to move on. We really need a dozen or so off the books enabling us to bring in 4 or 5 quality signings giving us a squad of 25, which IMO would be more than enough for this league.

I was at Fylde and we were beaten by a far better team who played us off the park. Aldershit were terrible but it looked like we’d never been shown how to play the game….the 2nd half was almost like watching junior football!

Did you go to that game? Did you stream it? That 2nd half display was unbelievable and I’m just glad I didn’t have to go into work afterwards as I would have been slaughtered.

How would you describe our last two away performances? Our display at Aldershot is just about the worst I have ever seen!

I’m sure he would have liked to enjoy his twilight years in professional football. Would you enjoy playing in this shambles of a set up? I certainly wouldn’t! TBH…..If we don’t start playing to his strengths it’s pointless him being here! I actually think he would take a pay cut given the chance to join the right club!

Norwood’s goal tally is commendable, he is feeding off scraps in a weak as piss side that creates absolutely fuck all, without his goals we would probably be fighting relegation. The epic fail as you so put it was not signing a decent supply line!!

So was he signed without being scouted and if so what was the point? Surely there are suitably experienced full backs available who can’t get a game in league 1 or 2.
