  1. I think Mellon is as much to blame. He fucks around with the line-up week on week and I don’t think he has a fucking clue what his best team is or how he wants them to play. We’ve had Sachdev, Sutton, and Hogan all playing RWB recently…. a settled side would be a good start surely?
  2. Yet another team with players far more comfortable than us on the ball.
  3. They’re looking the more likely to score so far.
  4. Can’t be hoof ball today….got to play it on the deck!
  5. Walker still not featuring in a match day squad is puzzling to say the least!
  6. I think they probably could….I don’t think they’ll be too pleased if ticketless fans end up milling around outside the ground or infiltrating the home ends!
  7. I’m not disputing what you say but that’s just weird! The police tend to have the final say in these situations. It is they who make the decision to move the KO time, it is they who make the decision for the games to be ‘all ticket’. If the ‘police’ had requested that we give them more tickets we would have to comply, surely?
  8. The thing that is most baffling to me is that a fair chunk of our signings under Unsworth were supposedly top players at their respective clubs ie. Lundstram, Willoughby, Ward, Shelton & even Nuttall yet they are now all probably surplus to requirements. They may have proved to be poor signings but surely poor tactics and coaching must have contributed in some way to their lack of progress!
  9. On the subject of home attendances, after reading the notes on OASF meeting with Darren Royle I’m pretty sure ST prices will be raised considerably regardless of division as we are currently experiencing considerable losses (which were expected) due to infrastructure costs following the club takeover. My current senior ticket at £175 works out at £7.61 a match which is, I believe, ridiculously low and appears to be one of the cheapest if not the cheapest in the division. I’m expecting a 30% increase which would put it to around £10 a game which would still be amazing value and still one of the cheapest in the league. However, If we are promoted It may go up even more and could have a considerable impact on ST sales next year. Whats the general consensus?
  10. Was he a recommendation or was he scouted?…..the reason he was brought back from Morecambe was a lack of game time. I guess it won’t be long before he returns to Blackburn.
  11. Speaking of food the C/O pies in the JR Stand are bloody awful. A lukewarm, dry and tasteless offering @ £4 a pop!!
  12. It’s because the league is shite, it’s hard to get too excited about away days when the majority are 200+ miles away and now its a bloody expensive pastime!!
  13. TBF…he’s hardly had a decent run in the side apart from a few minutes here and there. A bit like under Unsworth when we already had Willoughby and then signed Norwood, we already had Dallas and then went and signed Garner. I find a few of Mellon’s signings strange to say the least.
  14. Who is this Walker you mention? I’m sure Dallas could be deployed wide too.
  15. I’ve resigned myself to these mind numbingly boring tactics at home as a means to an end. Basically, if it somehow results in a promotion out of this division in May it will all have been worth it. However, I will not accept these sort of tactics if they continue into next season, whatever division we are in!
  16. It will be 4550 if nobody turns up due to ST’s. Although we are in the playoffs and playing 2nd in the table it’s a Tuesday night fixture and the football hasn’t been great. I think 5300-5500 would be decent.
  17. Apparently we have sold 4550 Season tickets.
  18. But there’ll be no break because the rugby season runs until September I think?
