    And in a team that unbelievably finished 2nd highest goal scorers and was only pipped for top spot on the very last game of the season. What a strange season that was!!

    Check out that league table…only 7 points separate Dagenham in 12th from Dorking in 23rd!! The only dead rubber we play is against Oxford City. We’ve got 5 games that at the moment are crucial for one reason or another and the other is a local ‘Derby’ against Rochdale!!! We wouldn’t be in this situation but for an horrendous run of results! I’m convinced we absolutely have to win on Saturday.

    Over the last 6 games we are the worst performing side in the top 10. I think we definitely need to beat Dagenham and get some momentum going, lose and it’ll be tough!

    Still think we’ll need 4 points minimum from the Halifax/Altrincham games. Also Altrincham & Gateshead have a much better goal difference so we will need to finish with more points! For me a win on Saturday is absolutely crucial!

    All the final fixtures have to be played at the same time on the same day don’t they? In our case 15.00 on 20th April. It’s a key game in the promotion race so If it was rescheduled for the 16th and was then postponed because of heavy rain all week in Halifax what would happen then?

    I haven’t said it’s acceptable… I’ve said it was weird but some are jumping to conclusions. We don’t know the full facts and there could be a very good reason for his actions. Let’s see if the club take it any further. I’m sure if there is anything untoward we’ll find out soon enough!

    Yeah, probably briefly upset about 10 people tops and I bet they would have then been more than happy with the captain stepping in as a replacement……. Some of you lot just want him gone and it’s a little bit weird really!

    And just as crucial for them too!! On the downside we’ve won only once in our last 7!! Beating Alty & Halifax will make it a damn site easier, lose those two and it’s all over I would think!

    In a decent and consistent side yes…in a dysfunctional team such as ours with changes in formation and personnel week on week absolutely not! He’s missed a few and could have scored more but 17 from 33 is a good return under the circumstances. I’d prefer to judge him next season when hopefully we will have a settled side and a familiar partner up top. We’ve been crying out for a 20+ goal scorer and now we’ve got one let’s just enjoy it!!

    Not at all, but you have to admit it’s a little strange no? I don’t think he’s one for the limelight and just prefers to stay off the radar. The only thing I can remember him saying in the media since signing is…. ” Let’s go win this league”
