  1. Agreed mate ...all songs classic..never tired if listening to it.
  2. My gut feeling at the time was that furman or wesolowski should have been tracking back - the scorer was a midfielder who sauntered in and sidefooted home....poor
  3. Now that's the spirit! like Big Joe all over again!
  4. Trevor Kettle vs Charlton at home last season. (not just one decision but a full 90+ mins of bad decisions) Booooo!
  5. After regularly watching the big match on itv how the hell did teams manage with one sub!
  6. we have to be careful that it's not all square pegs in round holes here! anyone who saw brown at lb at rochdale will agree it is not his position, adeyemi for me is an attacking midfielder and clarke hasn't got the pace to play rb. can we not go for defenders who can actually defend! and let the chosen midfield/forward line worry about attacking?
  7. joey? sounds more like Graham Westley himself to me!
  8. Tbh I think the crowd's performance mirrored the awful game - no real support or atmosphere just loads of p**sed up blokes throwing pies around and a hell of a lot of people leaving with a third of the game to go. Good or bad if I.ve paid £26 plus travel I.m gonna stay til the bitter end.
  9. As soon as I saw him 'warming up' I had a feeling of absolute doom - I know its only the ref but I have NEVER ever seen this prick give a fair or decent performance. His show of walking off after all the players at halftime summed this so called professional ref up KNOBHEAD.
  10. Easy to say that but where's the next win coming from?
  11. It's funny that I can remember a bloke p**ING but 2 sendings off has the memory creaking!! I vaguely remember mcdermott walking with his head Hung in shame but not 100% sure. I think the swarms of away fans everywhere around the ground is what sticks in the memory.
  12. Newcastle at home in 1982 - the one where Kevin keegan was making his big comeback - it ended 2-2 and I remember there were geordies in every part of the ground! I was in the main stand paddock and there was a geordie having a p**s against the back of the old brick dugout!
  13. I was expecting an awful game having heard of stevenage's reputation but they were in my opinion an absolute disgrace. Is this the way that the 'modern'game is now played? constant fouls, shirt tugging, holding, pushing slowing the play CONSTANTLY, goalkeeper with not a rush in him and don't get me started on that t*at of a manager westley. Because the ref was new, young and VERY weak (he lost the plot i.m.o)they got away with all of the above. Add to the pot an Oldham side with key players short on confidence/form/skill (choose one/all!) and it made for me the most frustrating game of football? i've seen in a long long time. The two bright lights for me were Nathan Clarke who looked like he gave a :censored: and Tom Adeyemi who was the only latics midfielder with any bite and will to win the ball - just a shame that there was no-one to pass to!
  14. I think because of the nature of Diamond's game (committed to every challenge) and putting himself about as much as he does, these 'knocks' are going to happen - i'm sure if he can he will play through them.
  15. I seem to remember reading something in the programme last season about feeney where he said that he does actually have a house down in bournemouth - nearer to plymouth than oldham!
  16. Yes they are good for the game imo. At the start of each season all teams know the crack and know that the top 2 will automatically go up and that if you finish 3rd and 1 point or 100 points ahead of 4th it's tough! you haven't been good enough to finish top 2!
