Obviously we cant win every game but i get sick of the constant "we played well", "we were unlucky" excuses dickov plays out when we lose. clearly we didn't do well enough or we would've won.

If we lose i dont really care if the football was good im annoyed we lost. I'd rather play crap and win every game than play well and lose all the time.

Dont think the way we played suited smith, we were crying out for someone with pace to get round the back of their defence and all we had was smith. He did what he usually does- put effort in, won a lot in the air but it was pointless as we were playing through the middle, the wingers didn't put any crosses in. Smith wasn't the right player for that game, not as the lone striker anyway. Dickovs the one to blame, refuses to make changes apart from bringing on montano who put in a half hearted shift as per usual. Needs to go, the team is being held back by a manager who is out managed every game, tactically i think he's the worst manger in the league.

Just got home from working today, last i saw of the scoreline was with 35 mins played 0-0. Interestingly on the bbc website at that stage the stats showed possession at that point to be 65% to 35% in our favour ! Stupidly with the benefit of hindsight, i thought we could be on for a result, full time a complete turnaround of 67% to 33% in Bournemouth's favour and a disastrous 4 - 1 scoreline !!!!! You could never get away with that team Eyresy, it is 4-3-3 and seems sensible . Don't forget that as far as the tormation of the team goes Dickov is a one trick pony

Don't think simpson should be playing in midfield when you have furman on the bench. Simpsons decent when under no pressure, like against sheff utd, against teams that put pressure on you he's crap. Furman might play a bit defensive at times but all dickov has to do is tell him to play further up. (also it means we cant hoof it to simpson so we may consider something known as a pass).

I don't doubt for a second that Simon Corney would have the kid tied to a 2 year in the blink of an eye ! he will offer the contract no worries there .

Agree totally BP, at home against a poor team who have been walloped in midweek and do nothing in the first 45 mins ! Furman should have been replaced at half time to try to give us a little more vision and attacking impetus in the middle.

Was impressed with Derbyshire, intelligent movement off the ball and in the right place to collect the best pass of the day from Croft to cooly round the keeper and score.I can't help but think that Dickov dropped a clanger in substituting him early in the second half, to my mind he was our most likely goal threat,Especially with the advantage of an extra man and very little attacking threat from Notts replacing Wes with Baxter after 60 mins would have given us a little more invention in the middle of the park ! As with Derbyshire, Baxter also showed plenty of promise and with more game time under his belt will be better still. Can't help but feel this is another case of 2 points dropped rather than a point gained, Wouldn't be Latics if it came easy
