I wish the club would make the decision . chaddy end for away fans . nobody ever has to move again . simples. but I see tonight on official site the new season ticket offers are still there for the chaddy .its a shame , the chance is here now to do something for the future of our club. the new stand looks terrific already .get in it . by the way the season ticket prices are fair and the new match day price £ 22 had to happen .great support today . brilliant

its good to see some fans giving the trial a fair crack and getting behind the lads and enjoying themselves . anyone can see the chaddy is the worst stand in the ground but I know for some its the spiritual home end and I have had some great days there myself BUT. I SINCERELY HOPE THE BOARD TAKE THE DECISION TO MAKE THE CHADDY THE AWAY END NEXT SEASON . the new stand is under way and the club need it to be a commercial success ......So. if fans want the club to survive and move forward its time to break with tradition. buy your season ticket for rre or the new stand . if new stand not ready for day one go in rre until it is (one or two games)

joel did okay .while not claiming him to be a worldbeater I was generally pleased with his contribution . for me it was a 4-1-4-1 formation with joel playing in front of back four . if that sounds like negative tactics perhaps those people who are heaping pressure on our young manager should consider how helpful it is to keep criticising . the fact is we have only lost one of the last 4 or 5 away games . I wish we had won and it almost worked . special mention to JCH who worked his socks off .might have been subbed earlier as it was obvious he was running on empty but I could see LJ wanted to keep him on for his size and to defend set plays . it almost worked .

you asked the question and to be honest I don't care much about the away fans . I suspect they probably want something to eat and drink as do home fans . who will spend more I don't know and neither do you . the point is we need people in the new stand to make a commercial success . by your reckoning we should put away fans in there as they are the only ones capable of buying pies and pints . anyone can buy pies in the chaddy and you can bet the club will find a way to sell beer there if there is enough demand from away fans . away fans might spend more pro rata but if there are only 56 of them it wont add up to much will it .

ok people WE ARE BUILDING A NEW STAND . the point of this stand is to raise revenue through bars, catering , cafes ,boxes ,chaddys gang hq etcetera . its no use doing this if home fans are split around four stands . we ( the club) need to get as many people in there as possible .spending money, enjoying the facilities. I believe some people will naturally migrate to the new stand so that before games and at half time they can keep warm and watch sky / half time /full time results. with this in mind its time the club made the decision to give chaddy to away fans . it will benefit the home fans to be in the better stands with better facilities and concentrate any fans who want to make some noise . simples .

right , cat amongst the pigeons time ; when the new stand is complete its no use if its empty so I suggest giving chaddy end to away fans for every game . this would allow home fans the better facilities in the RRE , Main stand or new North stand . the whole point of this stand is to raise revenue from fans bars , café ,catering and boxes . its no use fans saying the chaddy is the traditional home end when the facilities are poor ,there are pillars obstructing the view and any crowd noise is restricted by the roof design . there would be a natural migration to the new stand anyway so less fans to make a noise . the RRE is obviously better acoustically so best place to make some noise . CHADDY END FOR AWAY FANS . BETTER STANDS FOR OLDHAM FANS. you know it makes sense

don't know if the new guy (Luke) has begun but you can already see changes to fishul site and the introduction of a matchday interactive wall . no doubt one or two numpties are already sharpening their knives . so sad

I was wrong . we now have our 6th loan signing . cant play them all but I am very happy with stead .

really pleased with the new contract for LJ . Frizell , Royle , Wenger , Ferguson all had time in the job . Too many chairmen don't have the belief and the balls to back their manager . well done SC . LJ is the man.

you may not have noticed but kasunga (who is a very good player ) was subbed at half time at Mansfield and was not even in the squad for Saturday as he has an injury ( glute )

not gonna get uptight about it but what if some of their fringe players are in our first team ? this is about us showing support for our boys . having a laugh a night were we don't actually need to worry about the result just having a look at our youngsters I suppose I am asking too much

January 14 2014 our reserves play man city in the Manchester senior cup . would there be any chance we could try to raise a good crowd to get behind whatever assortment of kids /fringe players we put out against the multi millionaire development squad citeh send . if every season ticket holder turned out we would have 2,000 plus straight away and if I am right it would not cost em a penny. back that up with an appeal for some die hards to turn out have a few beers and give the youngsters some vocal support and have agood old freezing night out at BP . I heard spurs fans did this last year and got around 3,000 to back their kids in similar circumstances .just mindless don't care what the score is backing for our boys who normally play in front of mum , dad and the dog . maybe cost £20 for the night including carparking a pint and a pie . im just throwing down a gauntlet .

monty struggling with back and thigh injuries which have affected his form but the man has obvious talent and loves this club . the new kid is a sensible no risk signing to get us through the next month . how can that be a bad thing.( awaits mind numbing reply)

just had a thought re goal scorers . when was the last time we had 12 different goal scorers before Christmas . kasunga Lorenzo Winchester wes tarky Sydney (paint pot ) Dayton monty rooney mc Donald philiskirk Clarke- harris have I missed anyone out ? the point is with so many scorers we are not just depending on one to hit the net. now what if two or three of them hit the net on the same day ? I know , but its nice to dream .
