I have it on very good authority that Tarky wasnt happy with his offer from latics and looked around and got no offers and signed the OAFC offer. This came from a board member. Anyone who things we will get a £1m is crazy. Doesnt help that the club keep saying they need additional funding for the stand. Everyone knows we need money and that reduces the value of your asset.

During the 1st Fans Foum LJ said he was HAPPY WITH THE BUDGET!!!! He said he could punch above our weight with that Budget. Im not having the budget as an excuse. Yeovil did pretty well last year with a similair budget

He is a defender, he hasnt scored 20 goals my xmas and or have 20 assits. People need to get real he is playing for a small club in League 1. You have to put into consideration the financial position of our club which every other club will know. £500k is huge for us and everyone knows it. If Tarky had left in the summer at the end of his contract, we offered him a deal so if he went elsewhere it would have gone to the tribunal, what would we have got for a 22 year old with 62 appearances??? £100k max Everyone needs to be realistic!

How can people say he deserves a better club than Stoke??? Are you kidding?? They are an established premiership club for a player that has only just become an established league 1 defender. Last season some fans were calling for him to get released. Why does anyone think he is worth £1m?? I dont think it helps that our own manager is talking up his mistakes when your trying to get top dollar!!! £500k upwards is massive! add a good sell on clause and im happy.

I I understand the point your making, I went to the first fans forum and took in LJ and still do however I am beginning to ignore the LJ PR stunts. Thats not me having a go at LJ i just want to see results improve, i want him to do well, I want him to win with Oldham, i like him I just dont want him to turn into Dickov with the same "unlucky" press conference.
