  1. not accusing anyone of anything just putting the information i have found in front of the majority, people can read in to this whatever they think. big question is why is the stand not in the club name??
  2. As most of you know I am not the biggest Simon Corney fan and I have spent some money getting my hands on a few reports that are in the public domain, I would appreciate your time in reading some interesting things I have found out..... This is all factual information from either purchasing detailed company information (www.companysearchesmadesimple.com) or oldham.gov.uk Firstly - Oldham Athletic 2004 Association Football Club Limited At present OAFC has liabilities of over £6m, this has risen over the last couple of years and the net asset of the club / company is now £-5,416,000 yes thats a minus! The New Stand According to the planning application of the new stand the certificate of ownership is in the name of Brass Bank Ltd which is owned 50/50 by Gazal and Blitz - Link below and not Oldham Athletic 2004 Association Football Club Limited http://planningpa.oldham.gov.uk/online-applications/files/C23768B4BC81F015DCDF277728F11D75/pdf/PA_333100_12-ApplicationFormNoPersonalData22172500000.pdf-1456370.pdf last page Simon Corney When reading the directorship history of Simon Corney it lists he is a director of PCW Developments PCW Developments This business was set up Sept 2009 and at present has has 3 shareholders, Brass Bank Ltd (15 shares and owned by Gazal and Blitz) and 5 shares owned by Paul and Christine Whitehead SC, SB and DG were all appointed to the board of PCW on 21/02/11 In their last accounts has assets of over a £1m pounds Contractor of New Stand On the 2nd December 2013 it was announced that Holroy Developments had been selected to be the contractor for the stand, 2 of the Holroy directors are Paul and Christine Whitehead who share the board room at PCW Developments with SC, SB and DG..... Anyway I just thought I would bring this public information to the attention of OAFC fans.
  3. Didnt he and brown get a payrise because LJ thought they were on too little at the start of the season. He said he wanted to give them more money and in turn he wanted more maturity?
  4. I have had enough of this guy now. We haven't been a league 2 or bottom division club in how long?? Not in my life time so there is only 1 person to blame and that's you mr Corney! You blame everyone but yourself! Agents players managers but in the last 10 years there is 1 common thing....YOU Don't you dare tell me that I should be grateful for watching league 1 football when we should be in league 2 Just :censored: off! If we are going to be in league 2 fine just don't stick around to give me more :censored: that we should be in the conference
  5. Piss poor management has got us here! Corney out
  6. I called this a month ago when he got released would have him! Cleaned it up in this division and best of all he has a dirty streak and aggressive. Latics at times have been to passive and someone with his nibble could be perfect
  7. Just wondering if this is possible Match day programmes to be up loaded onto a site or emailed to subscribers. For a £1 or 2, for fans that live or work overseas? Not sure how many takers but the chron do it for the paper every day. Just an idea and could make some additional revenue to the scheme
  8. The stand won't be completed for the season according to Corney last wk.
  9. What's happened to the fa ruling that states every shirt has to be in for 2 years??
  10. The job of a keeper isn't just saving shots, communication, organisation and stopping things before they develop. Oxley creates so many chances because he does not command his area and take the pressure off by collecting crosses. Rachubka is seasoned pro who is comfortable coming for crosses and he speaks so much. Ox is a good shot stopper but for me that is all. How many times has Rachubka released pressure in the last few games taking a cross ox simply doesn't do it. Would like to see him play the season out and if it goes well get him signed for next season
  11. I like Brown Lockwood Wilson Grounds. Wouldnt have wasted a loan on a defender, would have preferred a striker! Lets get back to we score more than you mentality
  12. what a :censored: signing!! he wont drop Korey or Weso, Harkins is our best player on the left. total bollocks!! desperation!!!!
  13. My dad is a construction director and he cant not understand why this is taking so long and why the contractor took the job knowing it would be this slow!
  14. Didnt FC united new stadium work start after we started at BP on our stand https://twitter.com/andykwalsh/status/444458296670699520/photo/1 they are miles ahead of us!
  15. and what if we dont sign anyone???? Dont they have to be signed by lunch to play tomorrow??
  16. What happened with his appeal from his sacking? I may have missed it
  17. I say this every time when a OAFC fan says without Corney there will be no club.....BULL:censored: When was the last club shut the doors and never exist again!!! Someone will always come in for a club, How much does Simon Corney put in every year?? He hasnt for the past 2 or 3 seasons.
  18. I flew to Libya a couple of months ago and Dowie sat next to me on the flight. Dowie said he was offered the job before Johnson. Dowie asked for a contract until the end of 2014 season. Cornie only offered him 10 games and Dowie was not prepared to give us a six figure salary with Sky for 10 games. Cant blame him to be honest. Dowie said he would be back at Oldham in a heart beat if he was offered a deal over a 1 year deal. He might have been talking :censored: but I believed him. He speaks with a smile when he talks about Oldham.
  19. Well the tide seems to be turning against our manager, football has gone down hill, our team is full of loan players who have a habit of not fighting in a relegation scrap and we are well and truly sucked into another relegation scrap. The fans are talking with their feet, one of the lowest crowds at BP (excluding away fans) I have seen for a league game. LJ has a contract for another 2 years and I very much doubt the club can afford to sack him even if they wanted to. When will fans start to look at the Board? SC gave the club a lifeline 10 years ago, for me that is well well in the past, this club is dying a slow death, the stand will not save this club alone, our club has gone from 6-7k crowd to 3-3.5k in 4 or 5 years. SC has to get his cheque book out and sign a proven striker, if not we go down. a Luke Beckett, Matt Derbyshire type or we are done and I fear never to return. I want SC to answer the fans questions with regards to the position of the club, the money, the ownership of the new stand and his plans for the club. Our club has been up for sale for 6 years and no takers, this is due to what he is asking for. Rotherham are no bigger than we are and look at them! This man is slowly ripping the soul out of OAFC and the quicker everyone realises it the better CORNEY OUT
  20. Just read those comments about Tarky and gone into depression. Fully agree with the comment about Corney have been banging that drum for 4 years!
  21. Why is this lad not featuring on the 1st team bench at least? We have heard all about giving youth a chance but that seems to just be directed at Mellor and Winchester, both have had their chance and let it slip through their fingers. Bove must be full of confidence and didint LJ make a point of saying he would use the youth team players but that seems to have gone down the toilet. Give him and Turner a chance, lets see some pace up front on Tuesday night. But it appears that LJ has hit untouchables that cant be dropped even when they are out of nick
  22. would like to see JCH with Turner. Height and Pace, give them a run
  23. When did we stop singing "we all live in the chaddy road end"
