  1. My main point on the new stand. Why wasn't it put out to tender. Get the best price and a more experienced stadia contractor Blaming bad weather for delays and that costs money well don't start building in :censored:ing December!!
  2. Muzza could be made to eat his words. Good luck to lee Gregory hope he does the business
  3. This is Ian Hills opinion not mine!!!!! I have only passed on what he said
  4. Yeah Sc did say that but the seats will only add 200 people but the gym shop boxes etc etc will generate 100k plus
  5. We will never see a penny from Richards This is what will happen, City will ask for £8m, clubs will think :censored: that and pay £2m to take him on loan and sign him on a free at the end of his year long loan.. Same as Gareth Barry!
  6. Hahaha the land 100% is not owned by the club. Sc confirmed that at the end of season do.
  7. I had a conversation with Ian Hill on Friday about one thing and the conversation turned to Latics. From his point of view he would prefer all the "back office" part of the stand completed before the seats go in. He believes the seats may add 200 people which in his words is neither here or there. He wants to complete all the the other aspects of the stand first. Boxes, shop, gym, office, bar etc as that's what will make OAFC survive in league one and possible drive us on. So don't expect us to have seats by the start of the season. He also said as it stands we are set to lose 500k in this years budget so expect to see someone get sold, Im not sure on the financial FairPlay elements of league 1 but I didn't think you could spend more than your income. Someone will know more about that than me. Corney can NOT afford to lose 500k so if any reasonable offer comes in then we have to sell especially if we are out of the fa cup on the 1st Jan. The directors at this stage will not be moving across to the new stand because at this stage there are so many interested parties in the boxes there is no value in keeping one for themselves. We spoke about Montano, his appeal to being sacked was rejected and he had the right to go to the FA but declined. Apparently there was several hundred hours of film and the small bit in the paper was the tip of the iceberg. Just thought I would share the chat, first time I have spoken to him and thought he was a decent and honest guy to be honest. Pains me to say it but I for one agree with no seats, the club needs the extra commercial income before the seats. We don't fill what we have in the other stands.
  8. More likely half will go to TTA to pay off some of their directors loan and the rest on the stand
  9. Have you read the blurb on the Cambridge website I sure every club gets the same crap. "He had more lucrative offers and at least one club in the division about but came to us" Same :censored:e spoken at every club. Fans know you only sign a player for 2 reasons, 1 offer more than others and 2 you offer slightly less but give them a longer deal!
  10. Harkins and worral are in the same boat, when we signed them there was an agreement for us to keep them after their loans expired. Fees agreed and it was down to the manager if he wanted them. Sc words he gave the impression they wouldn't be coming back
  11. Am I correct in thinking Simpson is out of contract after his loan agreement with Leicester came to an end. We have to offer Simpson a new deal just so if he leaves we get some form of compensation, won't be a lot but its still a little.
  12. Going to spend the money on the 1st team rather than having 6 or 7 players just playing in the reserves.
  13. Are you joking. If the club owned the stadium we would just pay a token lease hold fee to the land owner but we don't, the land and the stadium and the new stand are owned by TTA not oafc.
  14. Players contracts run until 1st July and preseason normally starts that week so that would be a really stupid idea.
  15. This week I would like to see chubs, brownie, grounds, Wilson and weso to join Lockwood signing a new deal. No messing around they have been brilliant over the past 2 months and created a solid platform to build from.
  16. I really hope the money goes to the club and not the stadium owner..... If it does go to the stadium owner hopefully at the very least they will reduce their directors loan to the club.
  17. The club information on companies house is 2 years old. Therefore the information that was released didn't have to be
  18. That was me, seems very strange to me, also very strange that the club has never released any financial information until last week in the chron. I believe someone is trying to cover up some tracks
  19. Simple fact is if someone offers any of our players more money in a location they are happy to go then they will move on. I like wes and hope the gaffer keeps him but if a Bradford come in and offer more he will be off. This goes with any of our out of contract players
  20. Blitz and gazal own the new stand according to the planning application.
  21. 1 I would like to know how the revenue from the new stand will be split? 2 at what point will sb and dg leave their involvement in the club. When they get the money invested back or do they want profit on the land?
  22. I couldnt find anything anywhere on PCW Developments Why cant Simon explain how exactly how the new stand will benefit the football club and not just the owners Brass Bank Ltd
