I really can not believe what I am reading, we have been up for sale for 5 or 6 years without any real bidders, We have someone who wants to buy us and invest in a new stadium over a chairman who wants to :censored: off and people are saying NO!!! If a new stadium is a soulless bowl what do we have now????? DOOM AND GLOOM DECENDS ON A POSITIVE YET AGAIN.....

People talk about Identity, we have a 3 sided ground when was that in our Identity, we have a chairman who spends more time in Amercia as he is trying to save his marriage and is desperate to sell the club...is that in our Identity. Im 30 years old and the only Identity OAFC has is to play attractive football, remains a family club developing home grown players. If that can be in a prupose built stadium which increase revenue so we can sign better kids for the youth team, bring in good experience spine to the side and compete then :censored:ing great!!! We have a chairman that wants out and if MK wants to come in and spend £20m/30m on our club (new stadium, purchase of club and land) to make sure its here in 50 years and competing then surely he is more than welcome.......

I hate the comment about is this the same Simon who saved our club crap.....they bought the club for 1 reason only, to make money on the land.... When they financial crisis hit 2 of them ran for the hills to leave 1 person behind to protect the money they already invested. Question....when was the last league club to go bust and not reopen again.....there is always someone willing to take the club on, if it wasnt TTA it would have been someone else. You go into administration and then you start again from scratch Until Simon finishes the stand or finds a new investment I will never be his biggest fan because we havent progressed in his 10 years at the club.

I just want to highlight a couple of things that lee Johnson has done in preparation for Josie leaving. Didn't pick him against Port Vale and showed we can play and more importantly win without him Has come up with a system that didn't really have space for Jose in it. We have signed a player to replace Jose before he left in DP. If its true we are close to hitting the 60% of our turnover then the sale of Jose for 150k he added 90k to his playing budget. Also Jose must be on 3k a week so we now have another 150k available to the playing budget and with sc liking what he sees with LJ I can see him backing him in the transfer market. Well done LJ I'm gutted Jose has gone however believe we are in a great position to be a better team without him

You have to remember that 150k for Baxter is a huge increase to the turnover plus his 160 to 200k in salary adds a lot back into the pot

Alot of people forget that he was available on a FREE TRANSFER IN JAN so 250k is far better than a kick in the nuts! I cant blame Jose or his dad asking for a low sell on.

Yes this is after 1 game but I'm also including last season when we were down until the run he put us on and then an undefeated preseason. Also in LJ first 11 league games (this season and last) he has picked up 18 points, that's an average of 1.63 points a game, over a league season that's a 75 point season. Long way to go but let's be positive about it! I have met LJ twice and your right he has blown me away, he also wants us involved!

Morning everyone Been reading a couple of the recent topics and in the middle of all euphoria of Saturdays performance there are several negative comments either about our leakie defence, that we won't go up etc I just want to make a few comments that I hope everyone takes on board. 1. On Saturday roughly speaking we scored 10% of last years TOTAL league goals in 1 game 2. We have manager who wants to play attacking/entertaining football that everyone will enjoy (unless you have a heart condition) 3. We don't have to listen to PD talk about how great we played, but we were just unlucky 4. We have a better group of young attack minded players that I haven't seen at this club in a long time 5. We have good players on good contract durations actually for the first time in a long time making them an asset to the business 6. Last season the manager showed he could switch his tactics to suit, long ball against bury, wasn't pretty but got the points. I don't know what everyone wants from LJ this season weather it's promotion or mid table, but LJ with SC help (trust me that's painful to say) has not only but a huge smile on all of our faces but he has changed our club for the better. Let's not be negative that we won't go up, as long as we are not in a relegation fight come April we have moved forward from PD :censored: brand of football. If we lose a game 3-2 so what?? This season is a transition season, a year that LJ will earn his stripes as a manager, but if we let him this manager may not only turn this club around but he could turn the town around. What I am trying to say is let's ll back the manager and this team. You never know what might happen......lets enjoy the ride and come May see where we end up!!
