The last time Fane was subbed at 2-0 down half the idiots in the North Stand were booing the decision. FFS he cannot kick a football and isnt really very good at tackling and his reading of the game is absolutely dire. Gardner, whom i rate, has been shifted around to accomodate Fane and I totally blame Wellens for this. There has been a knock on effect with Byrne being starved of decent possession who then comes too deep to get the ball so he isnt effective, but there again Wellens should tell him where to play and instruct others at what stage to give him the ball. We have no leaders in that team and concede too many these days with a poor defence and a dodgy shotstopper as keeper. Apart from that we are fine!

As a few of us have pointed out for several weeks now, it becomes difficult to build a midfield with Fane as the defensive one or even one of a defensive 2!

Well seeing as though he cannot pass forward, rarely goes past an opponent, never heads the ball and never ever gets anywhere near shooting or crossing the ball never mind scoring WTF is he doing then? The best way to defend is to use the ball well and put the pressure onto the oppposition-but it is hard with 10 men! Gardner should be playing in that position, I cannot believe that Wellens cannot see it yet.

I do actually agree that Pringle should have been selected especially since he scored at Bury. I also agree that McLaughlin had a shit match and I have not seen him play well all season and was a strange choice Can I criticise Fane for all the things that he cannot do in his main role or is he becomming the new Bambi? At Bury Fane was shifted out wide and Gardner played more centrally in the second half-so why was Fane selected if we had to hide him in the last match? It would be nice to see if he was dropped after scoring a goal-well initially it would be nice if he scored a goal or even made a forward pass! If we continue with 4 in midfield including Fane and Byrne we will get outplayed by anybody decent. Luckily there are some shite teams in this league again! One cannot do anything at all going forward and the other cannot (or at times will not defend)-it is like playing with 10 men at times. but I know who I would select 46 matches out of 46. The balance in the midfield is terrible and has been for a long time.

For 40 minutes our midfield got nowhere near them to even make a tackle never mind make a decent pass to our forwards. It is there that our problems lie and have done all season, we have no balance but Wellens thankfully shifted Gardner at half time to where he should play.

It was hilarious as the decisions went against Spurs, btw the penalty one didnt involve any ears at all. If it contributes to VAR being scrapped it was well worth it and will leave at least half the crowd at BP still able to shout 'handball' when the ball hits a defenders thigh in their area from a cross.

If I could vanish it would be more likely caused by the reduced intelligence of the posts on the board with the more myopic posters becoming increasingly vociferous with churlish narrow-minded insults. Perhaps I simply get bored with the mind numbingly boring level of schoolboy bickering.

I do understand that first point, it is pretty bleeding obvious. Now this is the point where your argument doesnt hold water. Of a 10 year old might be a start. BTW he still doesnt head the ball and never scores so you are conveniently missing half of the criticisms which I levelled at him but hey ho each to their own! He is tall gangly and gets around the field and sometimes wins the ball so you carry on cheering him if you like. One day he may even score a goal for you. I expect much more from a pro footballer even from a third division footballer.
