    If a club is under an embargo (as we were close season) it is then monitored closely throughout the season by the EFL. I wholeheartedly agree with this system. It differs to FFP which is retrospective. One must assume that if AL has been covering the wages then he has probably been loaning the money so far rather than investing yet! BTW I have no idea how Bury get away with their dealings through various loans

    I beg to differ. I believe that these 'new' loans are changed and for the complete period-apart from Goalies in certain circumstances

    If it is known that we regularly pay wages late it wont matter if we get funds in the window as players will already be sceptical and go elsewhere.

    I dread to think how high our wages bill is for players even without the 3 on 30 day invoices. There are various clubs in the 3rd division who do things significantly differently. We have just been beaten by a club who sit in second place with no such superstars. We probably lie a lot closer to financial meltdown than they do.

    In the last 2 seasons we stated off shit then appointed Shez who brought in half decent loan players to keep us up. Last season Clarke & Ripley were awesome. In the current year we must hope that it is not going to be a shit sandwich with our glorious loanee period being October and November. January looks like a total rebuild through the spine of the team. We must hope that Wellens is nearly as good as Shez was.

    I cannot be arsed speaking to my contact who talks to Corney-I am just pissed off (but not surprised really) that yet again this type of publicity is hanging over the club. It is just one thing after another over recent seasons.

Fane cannot kick a bloody football and will go the same way as the previous 2 -down to the 4th division. It gets very boring having the same arguments with you year after year.
