  1. Couple of home games ago I got to the match a little early so got myself a pie and brew and sat in one of the thousand or so seats in the MSU, I was literally one of about a dozen in that stand, plonked myself down and within a couple of minutes being moved by a chap holding his ticket asking me to move, probably one of them red scum who'd come to see Scholes but it made me chuckle.
  2. Think your being generous with 3000 if I'm honest, Dale would probably take more and that's saying something.
  3. Ironically I will probably take advantage of the offer for next season and knock it on the head for this season barring Exeter away.
  4. Meanwhile in Oldham our fans are still defending the likes of O'Grady
  5. You could clear that whole squad out of our 'own' players and very few would be missed, let's face it only Iverson, Surridge and Lang have shown any real quality this season, okay George has shown some glimpses but it's as poor a bunch as I've ever seen.
  6. Think Bury are a bit better than some are expecting, really do well to pinch a point today.
  7. They had 4200 home fans for the recent game with Lincoln that was on Sky so 5000 isn't totally inconceivable in a game they could go top in.
  8. Some are a good read and it's good to have my view that Chris O'Grady is dogshit reinforced.
  9. Just out of interest where is your information from? It's okay running down others view point and passing it off as misinformed but you seem to think your point is the only valid one, I heard Bunn was well liked from someone within the squad and personally I have no reason to disbelieve that, I personally didn't rate Bunn but think it's unfair you claim he lost the dressing room based on one bad result.
  10. The players really liked Bunn, okay they downed tools at Carlisle but I would bet a pound to a penny that was in protest at AL storming the dressing room post match Exeter and not because they'd lost respect for Bunn, Bunn losing his job was the fall out from it because AL loves to deflect the shit storm away from his own door.
  11. Don't want to paste your whole post Bristol but as far as I was aware Lookers didn't break any rules mirroring Aidens prediction and therefore as a result I did qualify in second as Aiden posted after the cutoff, it's either a rule or its not. I have been penalised before for posting an prediction maybe a minute or two late before a ball was kicked and also lost all points when it was quite obvious that I'd got my home and away teams muddled in the Morecambe away fixture. I appreciate it probably takes up a lot of everyone's time but what went on last night following the weekend was all a bit of a farce.
  12. Wonder if Abdallah resisted temptation to visit the changing room at full time last night.
  13. Personally thought we gave up on trying to play football and left it to Iverson, Clarke and Edmonson to hoof it aimlessly back to Morecambe.
  14. Stott is painfully slow particularly on the turn and positionally unaware of where he is on the pitch, drifting inside at every opportunity Morecambe had pretty much the run of the park down that flank in the first half, his distribution was shocking to go with it so although it wouldn't be fair to write him off he was piss poor last night and he wouldn't be starting again any time soon in my opinion.
  15. Come on they could of had three or four easily by halftime, okay O'Grady hits the corner flag with a free header from ten yards but there chances were clear cut, plenty of ours were hopeful digs from 30 yards away (which I don't mind) where as theirs were on the counter attack were they carved us up time after time. Iverson at home to Morecambe was named man of the match which tells you all you need to know. They wanted it more it's as simple as that, having ability means diddly squat if you can't apply yourself. Effort, pride and attitude should be a given for a professional footballer and too many fell short last night.
  16. Unlike last night's performance which was as bad as I can remember. Felt a bit sorry for Scholes last night he really must wonder what the fuck he's let himself in for watching that. Let's hope we can do a Morecambe on Bury and restore some pride.
  17. New one on me, some shite rules being played here to be fair. So I qualify, a late edit is accepted (unfairly) to force me into a play off then another edit via Twitter which wasn't displayed till after the goal was scored knocks me out Rightly or wrongly I made a mistake with my entry for the Morecambe away fixture and lost all the points I'd accrued but now it seems the goalposts have changed.
  18. Honestly think we'd be no worse off with Frankie Dull and he'd of probably of brought in two or three in the window who could of made us better and actually been able to play.
  19. Got to say that's probably the worst home performance I've seen in many a year all things considered, it was a fucking horror show from minute one with effectively two holding midfielders and a bag of cement upfront. As a pundit Scholes ripped Mourinho to shreds for playing the same negative formation he himself saw fit to play against the mighty Shrimpers tonight who let's face it are shite but had heart and desire of warriors unlike our wet farts who went down without a whimper. Season probably over now and that is a huge disappointment given we'd seen an upturn on the gate for the last three games. Final point - where the fuck are these loanees - farcical situation signing players who can't even play.
  20. Didn't start, team selection baffling and too many players not good enough. Hunt Stott Sylla Missalou O'Grady Branger Any of these players would be lucky to make Saturdays squad in my opinion. I'd rather we played some youth players who would at least show some desire to be a footballer. Some performance that for a manager only a week into the job, only really Iverson, Nepo and Baxter come out of the game with any real credit, rest of them were shite.
  21. Thought I'd logged onto a football forum this morning
  22. In response to the original question I'd say yes, he's most certainly made an impact on the attendances which have been up at least 500 and maybe as many as a 1000 home fans for the last two home games.
