  1. Can't see where Gardner fits in, wanted away all season so don't see what's changed tbh.
  2. Edmondson did little wrong and his distribution was much better, won every header he competed for and had their No 9 in his pocket most of the night. Still went for Missilou though
  3. Plenty on here have defended our static powder puff forward line all season. O'Grady did a job he should be doing this season tonight and seeing us out for the last ten minutes, pace and movement is what you need in this division and willing runners, finally we have a forward line that offers a threat, Yeovils defence will certainly know they've been in a game tonight. A million miles away from the bore fest in the reverse fixture at Huish Park where O'Grady and Miller mustered up a shot on target throughout the game.
  4. Anyone still fancy the big lump upfront to lump it upto for 90 minutes to little effect? Thought not. It's amazing this game when you play your best footballers in an uncomplicated way. Missilou, Edmondson and Nepo were all outstanding with special mentions for Clarke and Branger who frustrates one minute and is sheer brilliant the next, onwards and upwards and we could push a crowd of around 5000 on Saturday now.
  5. Two trees (Vera and O'Grady) on the bench. Like the fact he wants to play the better footballers rather than the immobile lumps who offer little.
  6. He seems very bitter, probably some truth in what he's saying but he always came across as a bit above his station to me.
  7. Looked more of a winger to me than a striker, may play three upfront with the Utd lad and Branger either side of Lang with Nepo back at left back?
  8. Just tried to like a post but was unable to, has this facility been removed then? I did try to post this in the downboat topic but it looks like that's gone as well, is this permanent?.
  9. This for me, one of his biggest contributions might be his ability to attract a player we may not of had a chance with previously, he is pretty straight talking but fair in my opinion and I don't see him losing the dressing room like our last gazillion managers seem to have done, I really hope it's a turning point for our club and the start of a new era.
  10. Tremendous effort although I suspect there are a couple of posters on here who are from another planet at times so they probably have you beat
  11. This has got to happen, I get not playing someone from the start if it triggers a clause but other than that it's got to be a fresh start for everyone, we've a smallish squad as it is.
  12. I watched the programme, he came across as a bitter bellend, ironically he slates Scholes but started his managerial career at bottom of League 2 Macclesfield Town.
  13. Did you see him on BT sport last week having the piss taken out of him because he claimed he'd of won ten on the bounce had he gone in to Man Utd when Solskjaer did.
  14. All very fair points and Ince has let himself down badly the last week on more than one occasion. Always had a chip on his shoulder and like you say has never had an affinity with anyone but himself.
  15. Toothless as usual, Branger isn't a team player but I thought we still shaded it.
  16. Presume that will be Scott at left back, a position he's not that comfortable in. Only six on the bench so maybe Hunt is injured.
  17. Fair point but if we can't make this appointment work I think it's going to be much the same under AL as it was under the previous incumbent.
  18. I've gone for 18+, more out of hope than expectation.
  19. Only if your Westy Haven't watched Soccer AM but if it's the blue and white shirt that's one of the nicest shirts we've had over the years in my opinion, shame it had Torex blazoned across it.
