  1. We need more fight and physicality in the team and Shez has delivered so far. Gerrard and AAH now. The other two sinings have done ok in the last game or so. I trust Shez's judgement. Let's see what the kid has got before we smack him down like a cheap piñata.
  2. Took the young Un to his football training at Mark Innes Coaching Academy (MICA) Then rounded off the weekend with a trip to South Lakes animal park haven't seenany scores or placed bets. Feel refreshed through it!
  3. Agreed about Wilson J. Costs us almost every game. The lad's head has gone completely. You can see he hates playing for the club and if what has been said about him having a pop at Shez today during the game is true then he needs to go on loan or released to do both parties some good. Dieng is/will be good enough with a natural leader to tell him what to do and I think Coleman will be the same. Wilson's negative blame and back chat is crippling their development. I agree about a striker. We do need a wrecking ball big lad. He doesn't need to be skillful or fancy, just a player that can hold the ball or flick it on that can bash defenders about a bit. I'm hopeful we can extend Palmer's loan and I think Lafferty will also cone good with a leader on the pitch at the back. Unsure if Dummigan will come back after injury. In light of all that we definitely need a new bolshy CB. Cover for wing back and a big striker. So I'd say 3 more players. Will we be paying money for these players? No. They are likely to be LT loans or freebies. Do I trust Shez to bring in the right players? Absolutely. Just think they will arrive in dribs and drabs and not all next week.
  4. Didn't go today thanks to the dreaded man flu. LP's Roy slated Wilson J all game. He sounded absolute toss. Sounded also like their keeper had a blinder.
  5. Sheridan and Shirtlif... does have an 80s cop show sound to it!
  6. Could well bite him on the arse this. By the sounds of Dean Smith's 'He's a young lad but he'll learn from it' comment, he isn't going anywhere but the reserves/youth team.
  7. All 3 men's positions had simply become untenable. Very suprised Corney had the bottle to do this but I believe it is for the best. Hopefully lessons have been learned and we bring in someone to begin to untangle the knots.
  8. Depends how much you've drank to zig zig to the ground, Omar.
  9. Yeates and Phillis... Is anyone else dreading playing Pool next month? ?
  10. They don't seem to concede all that many Barring Gillingham and Peterborough. It pains me to say it but I can see this being a defeat by more than the odd goal...
  11. ^ This exactly. It's the lack of plan that is worrying.
  12. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. With what funds are you proposing we bring Dowie in with???
  13. Just said this to my brother in law. Brill was :censored:. Not as shot as Cornell.
  14. Evidently not BP. Like NZ said it's only a rumor site, and you never know if these things are true. I'm hoping we do keep hold or even get a decent fee for him, I can just see us excepting a nominal fee for him.
  15. I'd like to agree with you NZ, but we are selling our best player and captian for an alleged £200k. Based on LK's value, 35k for Murphy night not be so far away.
  16. Yes because he's the only likely goal scorer we have. Barring philly I guess..
  17. Has anyone played football manager (!) on the 'asset striping chairman' challenge? FM meets real life?....
  18. Agreed, but only because we struggled tactically to adapt to his loss. Same as Donny struggled to adapt to Wellens losing pace and mobility. It worked for us with Shez to take into account his loss of the same/similar attributes and look how that turned.
