  1. So I suppose the question is if 6 to 7000 turned up every home game and 2500 were season ticket holders and had a bigger budget Would Corney be the problem?
  2. I know all tongue in cheek.i gave up getting wound up a long time ago used to get drawn in on the other forum but now just let it go. Hope ur hard work achieves something with the fans and the Chairman....just some signs of positivity will do for me with a bit of stability. ?
  3. Or he uses the experience vet and the pet still dies Or the young vet learns from his experience and becomes one of the best vets in the world Or the owner of the vets puts it in to administration as it wasn't getting enough sick pets and it was all the sick pets fault for not coming so we can't get a decent thermometer as the current 1 keeps showing 0 and it's only on loan from the doctors
  4. I would say shez has lost the dressing room 4 0 to Cambridge
  5. I think we edge closer and closer each season. But SC keeps saying we are not in debt so why administrate a profitable company?
  6. Watched his interview. I don't read in to it what a few are saying. I think he came across quite well. Determined and doesn't want to get drawn in to speculation on transfers so sticks to the usual football mantra of one game at a time. He comes across as quite strong willed and point out that what we have is what we can afford
  7. Ripley Dummingan Tarky Trottman(1st time)Bertrand K.Smith Lee Stephens Kilkenny Baxter Leon Clarke
  8. Or it does make sense so we don't have to spend any money on transfers as we didn't get the new boss in in time
  9. 19263 against West Ham in 1990 wasn't to far away? And there was easy more than that against Wednesday on the last day off the season despite what the records say
  10. They weren't just pinch me years tho from 74 to 97 we didn't play our football outside the top 2 divisions. The Rochdale Burys etc we are not competing with now have never come close to sustaining that and I know it's the past but a few teams like Preston Bolton been considered big clubs of the past we don't know what our history would of been if WW1 hadn't got in the way. We was 1 win of the ultimate. I don't think any one has reached more FA Cup semi finals than latics and not won 1. Oldham is a big metropolitan borough with over 200k people living there. The potential is there that is not at Rochdale. Since football began our over all finishing position is just in the 2nd league still despite 20 years of league 1...so that says to me we are not a club from the bottom 2 leagues in history! We should be looking up not down. We was the 3rd team in Greater Manchester and everybodys 2nd club for the way we played. We was the blue print for the way fergie played at Man U to start his dynasty. We are not a tin pot club by history. My Grandad regaled me with stories of crowds bigger than advertised and being passed to the front after sneaking in after kick off. Stewards I knew telling me there was over 30k wen we won promotion and not the 20k always stated when we was all crammed in like sardines. Merry Christmas
  11. To use a Barry phrase, if your going to do "due diligence" on the club it would need more than a couple of hours 1 Monday afternoon and a set of accounts. There is another phrase I know a few business use for their accounts "creative accountancy"
  12. I get the feeling Gerrard may be a surprise inclusion in this game
  13. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38404784 Another club that has had to rise again
  14. Do u think they think like that. Same as when families live on the never never and never question can they afford stuff? People only live in the here and now these days and deal with the consequences if they happen
  15. I think so, but they have portrayed it as a punishment
