I always had Baxter as a forward either up to or just in the hole. Never had him as a midfielder. Don't fit players in if they not good enough to play were they should they have to be on the bench till they get the opportunity to prove otherwise in their correct position. But it goes all the way to international level of fitting players in so not just a bunn problem

I like him as a footballer and think he would be the difference in a lot of games in this league I can't see Miller Clarke COG Gardener and Taylor taking too much shit of him. He probably the size of Miller's toe And from photos and hearsay in pre-season he seemed to be getting on well with Baxter.....but may be that was a concern that he was especially with Baxters passed exploits. Here's hoping it's resolved soon as gone too long now

That's just like me saying are you looking forward to relegation because we got strikers...No reason for it.

We was relegated with 2 decent strikers last season but stayed up for a few seasons needing a decent striker.

I didn't realise he was only 23 still potential in him

It's all conjecture till signings are made and balls are kicked. Nobody is guaranteed success especially in the football world. And I'm pretty sure no-one wants to intentionally fail. So let's look forward and see what happens we will soon know

Bunn legend status should not be questioned. I wasn't his biggest fan thought he was lazy and injury prone - and still feel he shouldn't of started the littlewoods cup final as wasn't fit. He was part of the original catalysts for our legendary years that seem a hell of a long time ago. He holds the only positive record connected to the club at the moment and for that alone it puts him up at there with Ritchie Refearns etc and for me being there that night it is a memory I won't lose....So yes he is a legend so lets see if he can become a legend of a manager

But isn't that just average? Don't most clubs at our level lose 1 to 2 younger players to bigger clubs for free or a token payment? There's nothing special happening for me and I don't hear amazing things just bang average. May be wrong but Eardley and Taylor were never subjected to bids of more than 500k hardley a fortune had we sold em wen some clubs have made upwards of 3mill for some of there prospects.

Personally i dont get this myth we have a brillant youth system. The only stand out for me been tarkowski. I know a few parents whose lads have left and gone else where by choice saying it is poor at Oldham, even Rochdale been mentioned as a better experiance
