murrayzmint
I hope it's not Dyer, he's scored about 5 goals in the last three years!!!!
Macca
Yeah and bring that Neil Shipperley in as well, he'd be a massive signing!
Blue_Guru
Is brucey available ?? Nice to see ya to see ya nice......been released by Donny today. Not quite sure about him, supposed to be a model professional but tends to always be injured and has an average scoring record (around 1 in 4)....unless we can get a season out of him like he had at Palace scoring 10 goals in 5 games not bad! Guest oa_exile
>>January 31st<< Doncaster have cancelled striker Bruce Dyer's contract by mutual consent. Dyer has been badly hampered by injuries over the past couple of seasons and has seen his first-team opportunities at Keepmoat Stadium limited this term. A club statement said: "With Dyer's limited opportunities and the imminent closure of the transfer window, both parties felt it only right that the player be released from his contract and allowed to find a new club before the deadline. "Doncaster Rovers would like to thank Bruce for his services over the past three seasons - and wish him and his family all the best for the future." drphibes
I did not like reading that Dyer has been plauged by injuires for the past couple of years. In his day he would have been a good signing but no point in signing a crock. Drphibes

NB 27 apprearances in 2.5 seasons, missed nealry 100 games in that time Edited January 31, 2008 by singe
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
It'd be fitting for us to sign a Doncaster reject. Puts us right in our place dunnit! We won't sign anyone else. The only reason we got Jarrett is because PNE wanted Trotman. Edited January 31, 2008 by Bring Back Pukka Pies

Senor_Coconut
I agree we shouldn't sign cast offs, look at the last cast off we signed from Chesterfield.

JKblues
Bruce would be a Dyerbolical signing. That's a poor joke... (see you've changed your avatar) I hope it's not a 'veteran', some experience yes, but not a footballer who's going to be retiring soon. Guest oa_exile
Allott or Hazell? Coco did say "Last" so that would be Hazell
Inspiral_Carpet
Coco did say "Last" so that would be Hazell Fair enough. And I suppose as we paid a fee for Allott, then technically, he wasn't a cast off.
Guest sheridans_world
Since both Hazell was a free agent, he may have been referring to David Reeves?
