kellysheroes Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 (edited) On saturday stockport was singing where were you at edley park just a tad confussed didnt we take 2200 and thats all we were given due to tickets and no more stockport were given 2700 in which they brought 2100 is it me or have i missed something here???? oh yeah and anyone heard out from county boy??? I was thinking exactly the same thing!!!!!!!! We sold our allocation out and had supporters in every stand. They didn't sell out and brought less than we took there!! Another confusion was the song "I owe County," what exactly do they owe them? From my understanding of football chant goading, this chant has noting to do with the amount of fans.... just simply pointing out the fact that you handed out a right good spanking to the opposition in the corresponding fixture, and that even if winning your opponents should remember that... It can work both ways to home and away games... ie, if we had beaten them away, and losing at home... "Where were you at edgely park" etc... etc... ... That is my understanding anyhoo....
