Negative?

Recommended Posts

Why is everyone being soooo negative about it all?! We knew when JR took over that he wouldnt be able to change the whole team over night. JR has said he is looking at the youth. This is setting up for next season, i would much rather have a good year and win promotion next year and get rid of the deadwood now instead of pre season when everyone looks like a star! JR is looking for where he can play players and what he will need for next year. Dont be thinking he will be leaving he is a great manager and knows what he wants. Next season will be the year!!

Keep the faith!!

there are lots of negativity around because....again we had the chance this season to get up...and quite frnakly blew it,and now those people who said nah....we wont blow it 3 years running have been proved wrong and want to point the finger of blame at someone or something.

the morale of the story is,after getting off to a flying start for 8 games, dont change a winning team just to accomodate players who whinge there not playing.

Come on you can't be happy with the way we have been playing in the 2nd half of the season its been relegation form as for the young players its all well and good having young players but they have to fulfil their potential and they have to be supplmented by quality around them. Unless their isa total overhaul of the squad we won't have a cat in hells chance next year and will be down in a relegation scrap I really hope that Joe isn't the man to take us down there.

Also, when you put the skids under a player's International chances, a player who was the previous season's top scorer, don't expect him to play out of his skin for the club. Davies' red card may have been stupid, but the way he was treated was shoddy and way over the top.

Am not saying im happy with the 2nd half of the season but lets face it when we lost against MK we knew we wernt going up then Joe took over. A fresh outlook and he said from day one dont expect miracles lets see if he gets his own side together next year. Then if he fails then we can start being negative.

When Royle came in we still had a chance of going up that chance has now gone I didn't expect miracles from him I said on here when he came in that he hadn't just waved a magic wand and all the problems had vanished, but their isn't much at the moment to get me excited about next season at the moment not from the current squad we put in a decent first half performance today and credit where its due Neal Eardley had his best game in a while overlapping and wipping in some cracking crosses but we need more than just a decent half against a poor side we were awful 2nd period and overall we have gone backwards in the last 12 months

Can't agree more! I find it very, very difficult to understand that one by Shez. A player Shez brought in. A player who fired the most goals in a tough, injury ravaged season where we struggled to provide quality to the strikers.......and then Shez just tosses him on the fire. To make it even worse.....the guy goes to a playoff rival and bangs in goals.....and then we fire him off again.....

Utterly criminal decisions!!!

as someone pointed out our form for the 2nd half of the season as been relegation form, next year whether it`s joe or a.n.other they will want to bring in their own players,so yet again will we be starting from square 1? building a team for promotion ONLY if the right players are brought in,two areas in definate need are defence and attack, too many sloppy goals let in and not enough scored at the other end in the 2nd half of the season,i.m.o. if the right players aren`t brought in best we can hope for is mid table on our recent performances

The two main areas arent defence and attack (although some improvement there would be welcome), it's the midfield, the main reason this season why time and time again teams have walked all over us is the fact that the midfield this season has been very average at best, theres very little protection offered to the defence, we've 2nd to every ball and the two central midfielders this season dont seem to be looking for the ball, hence why Eardley has struggled this season (when he gets the ball he's being given very little options)
