bluehobbit
fair enuff. Lets hope something comes of it we are woefully short upfront. Get Taylor and Abbot fully fit and those 3 should get us some goals
edhunteruk
fair enuff. Lets hope something comes of it we are woefully short upfront. Get Taylor and Abbot fully fit and those 3 should get us some goals think its a good move if we can pull it off,he may have only scored 1 goal in 4 games, but his positioning and thinking is more in tune with pav than anything we have tried this season,if we cant get heff id like nardiello on loan rest of season 4th choice at the lashers and there looking at bringing in another striker. Frankly Mr Shankly
think its a good move if we can pull it off,he may have only scored 1 goal in 4 games, but his positioning and thinking is more in tune with pav than anything we have tried this season,if we cant get heff id like nardiello on loan rest of season 4th choice at the lashers and there looking at bringing in another striker. One in four games, and that was without playing with a decent target man and having to fashion any half chances out himself, such at the near-impossible hitting two posts and the bar at Wycombe and a very classy dribble and shot which was saved against Leeds. The lad can score goals, he just needs Pav and a decent flow of crosses into the box to feed on.

oafc1955
According to the rarely wrong Chron. http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news-fea...e-for-heffernan Will it be a permanent move or just a loan?
Macca
Will it be a permanent move or just a loan? Sounds like a permanent move to me, using the O'Grady cash to bring him in.

RoyleArmy
if we can get him on the cheap its not a bad move for him. Edited January 15, 2010 by RoyleArmy
Bring Back Ronnie Moore
I'm guessing we're not talking about actually signing him, rather than loaning him are we? Still, along with Abbott he'd get goals.

On loan until season's end - he would get a few. Just need some of the others to chip in with a goal or two - yes I do mean you Smalley, Parker, Taylor, Brooke. It's about time isn't it? oafc1955
Just got this of DRFC forum!! TOPIC: Paul Heffernan to Abertawe Swans??? Paul Heffernan to Abertawe Swans??? 1 Day, 14 Hours ago Heard on the Welsh borders that Paul Heffernan is contemplating a move to Swansea. Unsure if this is a loan deal or transfer. Should Billy boy sign for Burnley then where would that leave us. Oh forgot...Brookers was nearly fit, back in full training but slipped on the ice and damaged his DRFC Giro.
