maddog
Taking budget into account, Paul Warne. Would be legging it up that right wing and sticking crosses in for fun! Also, I slightly lurve him! Aside from that, I wouldn't look past players from the Dowie play-off season................ oafcprozac
Roger Palmer - the time he dug us out of the :censored: was unbelievable - rumour had it he strapped a shovel to his back just in case! Harry Dowds Green Shirt
Roger Palmer - the time he dug us out of the :censored: was unbelievable - rumour had it he strapped a shovel to his back just in case! Him or our other 'Mr. Reliable' - Lee Duxbury Of more recent ex players, I'd go for Wellens. Just watching him for Leicester against WBA. Maybe be would create more with him in the team and I see that he still has that little bit of nigglyness about him.

Bristolatic
Rick Holden. He'd be whipping in so many crosses, the law of averages says we'd be bound to stick at least one of 'em in.

leeslover
Lord Kangana Ndiawa - rumour is though... HES IN!!!! NOOOOO! I can't miss the Second Coming of the Lord as well as the First! Save him for Yeovil!!! Of more recent players, even a creaky-boned Shez or Eyrsey would be very welcome, both ability and fight. Going further back it would have to be Stitch, granted our problems are more in midfield but he had the intelligence to drop deep and get play going as well as be there on the end of it. Canada_latic
Rick Holden. He'd be whipping in so many crosses, the law of averages says we'd be bound to stick at least one of 'em in. +1 I agree! Rick Holden my childhood hero and one the greatest players to wear a latics shirt! He could pin point a pass/cross, that even our current goal shy attackers would not miss!
