I'd rather eat dog:censored: on toast for breakfast for a whole season than see Glenn Roeder in charge!

I'd rather BB80 ate dog:censored: on toast for breakfast for a whole season than see a multitude of managers, even good ones.

(but especially Glenn Roeder, who most definately isn't. Look at his record.)

If it ain't Gannon, I'd be surprised if it isn't an inexperienced manager.

Cotterill ain't coming here in a million years. Well not as Oldham manager.

Cotterill turned down Cov, and is lined up for Pompey.

Not even the remotest chance.

If you are pinning your hopes on him, or soemone of that ilk, you are going to end up very disappointed I am afraid.

Indeed. Never going to happen. Might as well pin your hopes on M**k H****s.

I just want it to be announced so we can end all the speculation and get on with the work that needs to be done over the summer.

But whoever it is can we please give the fella a chance? If his striker breaks his leg in pre-season training, if the midfield dynamo ruptures his spleen, if the winger gets sold or the keeper has a freak yachting accident can we cut him a bit of slack?

It will take a minor miracle for us to go up this season let alone be in the play-off places by Christmas. There is only one league position that matters and that is the one we are in come next May, if we lose the first 3 games, letting in 10 goals without reply it is not the coming of the rapture, unpleasant but not going to condemn us to "non league in 2 years".

I'm past caring who gets the job, I look forward to singing "manager X's blue and white army" whilst 2-0 up at BP next season and supporting the club that I stupidly decided to support 30 years ago.
