Carling Cup 1st Round Draw

Recommended Posts

I do. I create many good threads that are ruined. I do think it is value though, shouldn't be so big.

1st Round - vs Walsall - 8/11

2nd Round - vs Northampton - 8/13

3rd Round - vs Preston - 6/4

4th Round - vs Sheffield United - 7/4

QF Final - vs West Brom - 5/2

SF Final - vs Sunderland - 4/1

Odds to qualify against those teams which is fair realistic run equates to 335/1, with in effect a free bet for the final.

So at 750/1 we are overpriced.

For starters we'd never be 8/11 against Walsall. 21/10 at best.

And you've done about 3 Carling Cup threads recently.

Still 750/1 is better.

I like bread.

I like you.

the teams in the north seeded list are the ones we can draw. fancy any of them away except bottom 6

I'd love Boro away, saying that atmosphere would be rubbish, tbh they all look garbage, Derby, Coventry & Leicester would all be poor. Barnsley& Forest been and done. Preston wouldn't be so bad, Doncaster would be rubbish but i hate the wastards. Looking at the South though how good is there section.

Thinking about it i want Forest. Many a good night there. Be well up for it. Revenage for 1990. YOUVE LOST THAT LOVING FEELING WOAH THAT LOVING FEELING, well up for it now, toughest draw we could get, and i want it.

That or Peterborough away, fit away end, and miles away.

Who do you think we'll draw.

We won 1-0 with an :censored: header from a corner in the second half.

Looks like your wet dream was a pipe dream.

Scunny away.

I'm pleased. When we panned them a few years back but only managed a late late late draw (thanks Gary Mac), I remember tucking into a pie(s) and they were nothing short of delightful. Infact, the best pie i've had at a football ground.

Those pies are in sharp contrast to Burnley who's pie was rock hard and would have wiped Akibiyi clean out had I thrown it onto the pitch back when we lost 3-0 in the carling cup. (Ironically, they were sponsored by Hollands at the time).
