opinions4u
Unless they've got a railcard or under 16 won't be much use Bah, just borrow the railcard and kidnap a child near the station. No problemo!
Bristolatic
Sadly, I think all this has told me I'm not going and I was really looking forward to this one. I know I don't have to travel as far as some of you guys, but I would have to leave home by 7:45 to do it by train / tube / tube / train / bus to be sure of getting there on time and wouldn't get back home until about 10:30pm. If I drive, even taking the short cut from the M4 to M3 to join the M25, I would probably have to allow 4 hours and hope to God the M25 doesn't have problems - wishful thinking methinks. Really pissed off about this one, because I doubt we'll be in the same division as them next season. This is for those who have buggered up the District Line: but not necessarily in that order. Hemel latic
It is possible to get to Dagenham East from Euston in less than 90 minutes according to the TFL website: http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT...ulateDistance=

It's all of 14 and a half miles!

The advantage of the tube is that it takes you straight from Euston to the Dagenham East (with changes of course) and back again and Dagenham East is 400 yards from the ground. Pissed off at the level of engineering works on what is surely to be a busy shopping day coming up to Christmas so I can see it being pretty chaotic

Fubar springs to mind.

Theres an alternative solution that TFL isnt throwing up but is more simple. Take the Bakerloo line from Paddington. Switch to the Jubilee line to West Ham. Take the overland from West Ham to Dagenham Dock. Then taxi / bus / pub crawl. Simples If you get a train to Romford, you can get off at Chadwell Heath... The Chadwell Cheath trainins stops every 3 seconds, and takes an age, and is the carpiset train you are ever likely to get on.
