He's seen the departure of three directors and the main source of our finances whilst he's been here. Frustration maybe........comments anybody? Cost cutting, and probably hasn't delivered as after all it's a numbers game. Shame reallyb as I felt the club were improving marketing wise, especially with the questionaires, personalised Dickov emails and other little bits and bobs. I'd guess Guy's on a fair whack salary-wise so probably an effort to cut costs more than likely. Besides, he looked a bit like Robert Duvall. If a few people switched their heads on in the club half the stuff you mention should happen without a dedicated marketing guy to be frank... True, but without a dedicated person this 'easy' stuff gets left behind in the general daily firefighting that goes on. And that is at the heart of why the club's marketing got to the stage it did in the void between Jarvis and Guy.
