That one was premeditated; Keane admitted he went in with the intent of injuring. The frightening thing about Muscat's "tackle" was the guy landing on his head. Thank God he's even conscious. The F.A suspended Thatcher for 8 games and and extra 15 games suspended ban. Mendes had to have oxygen at pithcside and suffered a seizure on the way to the hospital but there were no long term lasting effects and he was playing within weeks.
