LaticMark
Now this is what a Council giving genuine backing to their local football team means! Rotherham United New Stadium If Oldham Council lent Latics £5m the on-line comment pages in The Chron would go into meltdown, and A&E at the Royal Oldham would be inundated with hyperventilating council tax payers! mikejh45
Bristol Rovers announce plans to move to a 20,000 seater £19.5 million but only if Sainsburys sign up. Brizzie City are spending about £70 million on a new one as well but they are having village green status problems on the proposed site. There is a race on to see who can get theirs built first. Gaz_Oafc
I notice FC United have to apply to the charity commission (as well as overcome the nimbys) for their new ground in Moston Will be interesting to see how they get on, will manchester council f*(k it up like Oldham council did? futchers briefs
Why post a topic on a football forum with the title 'FAO Oldham Council?' Surely it makes sense to send it to Oldham Council.
Tommy_Fent
I've been told that all the Wednesday fans in Rotherham are all up in arms about it and the council have turned round to them and said something along the lines of "Rotherham United FC represent the town you live in, so deal with it" Edited June 10, 2011 by Tommy_Fent
