Pure speculation, but is unattached, would be regarded as a coup and star. Suggestion actually cane from a Blue at work.. Like you say though not beyond the realms of possibility. laticdickovarmy
Last i heard Philips was in talks with Coventry and that would mean he wouldnt even have to move house from Brum so sounds pretty much a done deal to me
jimsleftfoot
PD states he got his no.1 one targets for GK and CB and ‘his other targets have not changed’ which would indicate that CMD would be one of those strikers.
oafc666
Liverpool defender Stephen Darby is set to become Steve Eyre’s next signing at Spotland. New Dale boss Eyre has targeted the 22-year-old right back as replacement for Scott Wiseman, who left Dale to join former boss Keith Hill at Barnsley. The youngster was approached before the squad headed out to Spain for a pre season training camp this week, but requested more time to make up his mind. Oldham were also vying for his signature, but MEN Sport understands the youngster has expressed a preference for Dale and is poised to sign when Eyre and his team return from Spain. Not too fussed about this. We have Lee and Winchester and probably some youth player who can play right back.
