opinions4u
Getting on a bit, but I thought he looked the part at Spotland last month. He's had a bust up with Coleman and wasn't part of the Dale squad today. Surely worth being part of next season's squad?
stevesidg
Probably quite like Wes in playing style, so it would be one or the other. A fit Wes for me, but if not, then Jones would fit the bill well. Edited April 14, 2012 by stevesidg
oafc-latics
isn't he like 34? if we could get him though we should, great player at this level.
PlayItLivo
17 goals or summat from midfield last season. Just the 5 this season. Slowing down and will be 35 when the season starts. Not for me. Edited April 14, 2012 by PlayItLivo
palmer1
my mate who is a dale fan offered Jones to us earlier today at a "special" price translated means, his legs have gone and he is no longer the force he was for them! thanks, but....no thanks
opinions4u
Fair enough. If he's past it, so be it. May be Adeyemi made him look good!
welshgaz
Jones would do a job for me. Whenever I watch him I can't help but be impressed. He is always there to pick up the second ball. Adeyemi needs to watch jones to learn a thing or too.

marhar
I was talking to a dale fan this week who said he is shot to pieces, he's gutted they signed him on a 2 year deal
rammylatic
Every time Jones has played against us he's ran the show. Definitely worth signing as a squad player unless his legs have really gone. Nothing like a fitness test to prove it though. -

Traffordtic
I think he's still one of the top five central midfielders in League 1, outstanding everytime i've seen him.....GET HIM SIGNED!!! How old is Scholes????

Stainrod
Arent people saying we need experience? definitely worth a look at. Goals from midfield a possibility too! whatever next?
Lee Sinnott
Awful, awful player. A clogger. Runs through treacle and needs to take the tow-bar and caravan off his back! He'd fit right in!
Roger Ritchie
Always strikes me as the kind of player who would bully youth team players and take advantage of free biscuits.

oafc1955
Awful, awful player. A clogger. Runs through treacle and needs to take the tow-bar and caravan off his back! He'd fit right in! Unless he's lost his legs he'd be a good addition to our squad.....he ran the show at our place and our midfielders never got a kick......if Trotman hadn't been playing I reckon we'd have lost the game! Lee Sinnott
If that's the kind of player we are hoping to attract next season, then we are cast iron guarantees for relegation. I'd rather we got Duxbury out of retirement.
oldhamains
He was dropped for the Exeter game. Says it all really.
