I was thinking it's a credit to Dickov that he's been shrewd enough to use loans and short term deals wisely rather than committing to long contracts. While I agree that turnover is absolutely ridiculous, 27 of those 45 were loans or short term deals which ulimately makes them someone else's problem if it doesn't work out (as it hasn't done in many instances). Unfortunately I think this is the only way forward for the likes of Latics, as they are unlikely to be able to afford to buy decent players and give them 3 or 4 year contracts as the likes of Huddersfield, Sheff Utd or MK Dons can.
