The good PR from it would be more than worth missing out on half a weeks wages for their stars. Since the media haven't latched onto it I doubt they have done this. They also wrote off big installations of transfer fees when the club involved were relegated or players suffered long term injury. You'd be surprised. When were you at Uni as they are run by American Capitalists now and they are a bit more efficient in terms of income generation I believe.
