WIZZO83
I thought Bob Dowie was more of a scout. Wasn't one size down to him? One size and Wayne Andrews
jsslatic
Was he a scout? I thought he was just Chesham manager.
stevesidg
Can we stop thinking of Dowie as this oracle, please. If we got him I'd be fine with that but there are better managers out there. I wouldn't offer him ridiculous wages to come here whatsoever because he's simply not worth that. Who would be on your list of better managers? Twisbrogan
Who would be on your list of better managers? Given that it appears that salary is the major sticking point, I presume that 'better managers' can also include others outside of our range such as Owen Coyle & Nigel Adkins. Both better managers than Dowie but all of them (I guess) would want too much money.
Monty Burns
Who would be on your list of better managers? David Brent.
oafc_fan
Simon Corney is in New York so I cannot see anything happening when he is away. 4 visited he has made to New York, what other jobs he got there, or what is really happening. Why cant we have new manager in quickly.

Harbin and Dowie together, yes, but seeing as their is little chance of Harbin's returning from Aus then Dowie no thanks. How about Kuqi backed by a Finnish consortium. longtimeblue
I reckon the move is off till end of the season, to see which league we are in. Nonsense. As someone who would be happy with Dowie, I'd tell him to :censored: off if he didn't think he could us up.
Lee Sinnott
They could make me Director of Football, ChrisA 1st team coach, Prozac Goalkeeping coach and Harry Dowd as fitness coach and we would still stay up : there is no way that team will go down.
