3 home games in 10 days

Recommended Posts

Bradford Sun 1st Dec. League

Mansfield Sat 7th Dec. FA Cup

Chesterfield Tue 10th Dec? Paintpot

How about a voucher handed out at the Bradford game for discounted admission to the cup ties if you commit to attending both or should the club just simply reduce admission to both cup ties?

I'm not sure the club has the time / resources to run a voucher scheme which is a shame as the Bradford game should attract an above average home turnout.

Certainly could be an expensive couple of weeks for many just this side of Christmas.

Here's a radical thought . Why don't we tell the lapsed armchair ones that something good is happening down at BP. Well worth 15/20 quid for the effort put in

I see where you are coming from but hollandspies is right, it's a lot of brass just before Christmas.

There is a minimum price for the FA cup games, in the 1st round it was £10. So that will affect any offers we can make.

I'd agree though that an offer for both cup games is potentially a good idea.

15 for 2 games, technically 10 for the FA and 5 for the JPT if it's stipulated that way, can't see a problem arising.

Offer £10 entry anyway for each, reckon a fiver off might tempt a few people, especially for families, that fiver can mount up.

Whether it happens or not is another issue!

We should run a voucher scheme.

A voucher given out at the chesterfield and 1 at the mansfield game.

If we win and get a home 3rd round tie - sales go:

1. Season tickets

2. 2 Vouchers

3. 1 Voucher

The draw for round 3 is before the chesterfield game. IF we beat mansfield (big if knowing latics) - & get a bumper draw, the voucher scheme could see a much bigger JPT gate than normal.

We don't want no more home games, or Everton/Liverpool, bored of them now.

So by the time the Colchester match comes around it will have been 5 games and the best part of 2 months since the RRE has been open to home fans, can't be good that.

Look on the bright side, we can get to the JPT early and sit in a seat in the main stand with a reserved sticker on it.

Anyone else reckon that we might get a sub-2k crowd now? Certainly can't see it being more than 3k.

I'm fairly certain that Mansfield would be the ones wanting it to be full price.

The poor thing will be feeling lonely. It'll soon cheer up when it's baby brother turns up next door though.

If we're still unbeaten by then, with the players relishing the improved atmosphere, perhaps the RRE could be made the permanent away end, in readiness for when we have four stands. :peepwall::sign0007::curtains:

You don't actually believe what the players say about the 'atmosphere' do you?

Praising the crowd is just as routine as 'the players worked ever so hard' from Dickov's post-match interviews.
