deyres42 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Would be interesting to hear why he wasn't able to play over Christmas but could today, am sure our resident medic will have the answers... Quote
astottie Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I wonder what film he'd been to see before the game? Quote

If you mean me, then his protective mask will have had to be custom-made. Plus, a protective mask will only offer so much protection, and as the bone heals with time the amount of protection it offers will be sufficient for Wes to play without putting himself at risk of a significant injury, think I saw something about him possibly losing the sight in that eye, which sounds eminently feasible. In other words, he didn't fancy Shrewsbury at home but fancied playing at Anfield... Quote

Diego_Sideburns Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Good picture of Wes, the 'Lone Ranger', in the Chron. Another piece of merchandise for the Club Shop, along with the Cliff mask? Quote
peter_headen Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 He had a great game. My old man had a brief chat with Wes outside BP this morning and he said that the only time he could hear the Liverpool fans was when they scored. Quote
