footy68
Bay City Rollers. Match v Clyde. TBH I haven't a clue, but I'd say it's possibly late 70's early 80's.

Diego_Sideburns
Judas Priest? No - not Status Quo either. Think of someone in a band in 1988 who was a fan of the Blades - I've put it on a plate for you now! Diego_Sideburns
Errrrrr. Human League? Are you saying Phil Oakey was a Blades' fan, or that the girls who were working as waitresses in a cocktail bar when he met them were Blades' fans? Either way, you're wrong. Inspiral_Carpet
No - not Status Quo either. Think of someone in a band in 1988 who was a fan of the Blades - I've put it on a plate for you now! Judas Priest played there in 1978. I think I know the answer (knew it was Bramall Lane as well) but I'm keeping quiet for now. Give someone else a chance! davegtt
1988 is too early for Pulp isnt it?
Diego_Sideburns
1988 is too early for Pulp isnt it? Pulp were actually formed in 1978, but for the first twelve years they were in total obscurity, so they wouldn't have been asked to play at Bramall Lane before this particular match.
