deyres42
You see others who run and dribble past defenders in the squad do you, who are they? Forte, Johnson, Winchester, Dayton, Poleon, Morgan-Smith.
BP1960
Forte, Johnson, Winchester, Dayton, Poleon, Morgan-Smith. Ok, get on to LJ to not sign him him seeing we have already have one struggling with injuries, one unlikely to be here in January and four others who can't establish a regular place. josh_latics
BP, are you Watmore himself, his father, his agent or someone with close links to him? You seem very keen on us signing someone who has fewer than 10 league appearances in a professional capacity.

No, liked him the first time I saw him at Altrincham and on what Iv'e seen of him at Sunderland, sometimes you have to back your judgement on inexperienced players, Latics have this done before with novices like Bertrand. Some come off some don't, I might be wrong about him, no one can be absolutely sure he can play at this level, but I believe he would offer something different and exciting to the team. Chaddy_Ender
Lee Gregory at 100k would of been worth the punt, Id have him here over Poleon every day of the week. What was it Murray said 'he wouldnt improve what weve got' - dear me another one who slipped away now plying his trade in the Championship. There are an awful lot of good strikers in this league, and others who have been worth a punt at one time or another. Forte has more goals than most and he was a free transfer. BP1960
Poleon is a gamble that's not yet come off, but these things happen. I wont criticise the punt on him though..some you win some you lose.
OneSizeFitz
Hibs drew 2 and lost 8 of the 10 games he played for them last season, and eventually got relegated having been in the top half at the start of January. Hope he isn't cursed!
youngen
Of course he will but I never said he was amazing. Very very talented no doubt. Great touch and great brain but in our team the way we have plasyed for most of this season and last you must work without the ball. Watch his next appearance and tell me what you think. Bid difference between a busy player working hard and actually closing down to looking busy and closing space. No issue with the ball but as a danger man clubs close him out and we don't always have the ball. Can't afford Luxury's in league 1...can we? You would like to think you could afford a luxury player when we start with 6 defenders & a goalie.
palmer1
You would like to think you could afford a luxury player when we start with 6 defenders & a goalie. It actually goes to show.... If you dont work hard enough you can't. All 11 need to be on it.

Could have done with your rallying call in the dressing room before the Yeovil game palmer, or do you think they just don't listen? palmer1
Everybody has off days BP. If we hadn't won in 10 then I would say there was an issue. A bad defeat no doubt and very unexpected which makes it worse but it is just one league game. We have been excellent this season. League 1 teams have blips. Hopefully that's all it was. A point at MK and 3 after that and it will be forgotten but let's not overeact eh? I can tell you now though if the work ethic at the very least isn't there at MK we will get turned over 4 again. Can't see it, can you? Edited December 15, 2014 by palmer1
BP1960
You are right, I have no doubt the work ethic at MK Dons will be fine, I wonder if the players psychologically feel more comfortable away from home, if so how can this be addressed? Probably with one of the specialist backroom team members that you'd do away with......;-)
BP1960
Probably with one of the specialist backroom team members that you'd do away with......;-) Id have thought the manager alone with all his qualifications and theories could do this alone, but you are right, just think how big Joe could have done much better with an head shrinker to call upon. BP1960
No contact with Sunderland and other clubs interested according to the Chron, be interesting to see what happens.
