Corazzin19
I hope Peter Clarke doesn't mind taking a double digit

Crusoe
Presume it means a decision has not been made as to whether to keep him. In the post-match interview Robinson said he was on a monthly deal at the moment.

Chorlton_Latic
Noticed number 18 is free - otherwise known to the more eagle eyed/borderline autistic of us as the preferred squad number of a certain Aaron Hughes. Just maybe this deal is not as dead in the water as we're lead to believe?
lookersstandandy
Only 23 numbers listed too...... does that mean only 4 places left to fill assuming no-one leaves......?
cornishblue
Very light on experience. Not the be all and end all of a decent team but surely the next 4 or 5 signings must be first team starters. Hopefully the gaffer is waiting for players demand to drop. We are all for blooding the kids and seeing one our two flourish in the 1st team but to throw them all in would be a disaster. Crusoe
He isn't an oldham player...he's on trial essentially at the moment! He's on a monthly contract, so he is an Oldham player, I'd bet it's just that a decision will be taken on keeping him before the season kicks off. When was the monthly contract announced? If he was he'd have a squad number surely?
Crusoe
When was the monthly contract announced? If he was he'd have a squad number surely? Steve Robinson mentioned it in the post-match interview after Saturday. It's on the official site in that article. The Chron also mentioned it - yesterday I think? I think they haven't announced his number (which I think was 24 on the pitch) as they haven't decided whether to keep him or not. I'd imagine they'll extend the contract, roll it on each month, or not renew it, before the season starts, and announce the decision then. Chris Richard
Has captain been decided? If not I'd go Peter Clarke.
RobOAFC
Has captain been decided? If not I'd go Peter Clarke. I think Wilson was against Huddersfield but probably because he was most experienced
