doctor evil
Maybe all the forward players should be changed every game - the idea that they get better and more consistent with a run doesn't appear to apply to this lot. And if winchester showed half as much passion on the pitch as he showed having his tantrum on the bench after getting subbed maybe he wouldn't have been there. .. same with ladapo -straight up the tunnel with a face like a slapped arse.. Surely its a positive when players are upset about being subbed off?

BP1960
Clarke, Green, Flynn, Winchester, Fane, Reckord, Erwin all looked goosed to me. They had 3 full days to recover, the Bristol Rovers players looked sharp despite travelling to 2 games in a week. mickjagger
Goosed of all teams not played the same amount of games? Does the training regime need overhauling then? Excuse after excuse it comes down this 1 Quality of players 2 Tactics

Winchester is the fall guy. You could have made a case for any of the midfield four to be taken off today.
LeylandLatic
I've always said the Chaddy End has great acoustics, it's the roof that makes it so unique. The problem with the RRE with it being so open is the noise just goes straight out and upwards.

BP1960
Technically it was two lapses of concentration at corners...... In conjunction with midfielders without the energy to run more than 2 yards with the ball, and strikers who find it impossible to make the ball stick. All the midfielders have been subbed because they faded in games this season, if they cant play 90 minutes or 2 games a week something is wrong with the players or the training (maybe both). It's weird that during open play our defence is generally well structured but on set-pieces we fall to pieces. Too many people in the box to defend properly? BP1960
We had 2 up for the 2nd...... And he wanted Osei up as well........ We had everyone back for the first and left a man in 10 yards of space to score. We are simply useless at corners defending or attacking. If we could control and pass a ball and retain possession then they wouldn't need to run so much. In far to many games we have been unable to perform the basics. Granted every now and then we do such as against Scunthorpe but it's frightening how many times we either mess up a pass, mis-control it or play someone into trouble with a poor pass

It was quite funny when Flynn chased down their lad and got a good ricochet down the line. 2 on 2 with Ladapo in the middle and he ran to the corner and lost it. Very much so summed it up. I don't think it's not having the energy, it's not having the intent. So static first half and fearful to make the killer pass or support the striker. According to the manager it was lack of energy as he said 4 or 5 players were 'tired'. Edited October 22, 2016 by BP1960

The midfield is generally to static, no one looking for space. They seem content with standing still. Although the lack of intent doesn't explain the ball constantly bouncing off them (and the strikers aswell). On the few times we have had the intent to go forward with 1/2 touch passing we seem to have a decent chance.
Gary1906
So the manager thought that the performance was fine, and was ok?!?!?! What does that say about where our standards are and how low they have fallen over the years! Yet another toothless performance at home, yet another goalless performance at home for the long suffering fans to endure, and yet he thinks that the performance was 'fine' and 'ok'. Dear oh dear!!! The truth is though that these players are playing in League One (the old Division 3) for a reason. I would exclude Peter Clarke from that comment though because he is clearly head and shoulders above any of them.

Markspark92
Paul Green is having a shocker at the minute I think he needs a spell on the bench, constantly give the ball away today with simple passes did the same at Bolton struggling to see what he offers, Fane much better in the tackle maybe give Ollie Banks a try not a fan of two holding midfielders at home so negative
