BP1960
I recommend a visit to BP to watch TPs lads in action next Tuesday 1st November (7pm). I'm sure you will find it a refreshing change. From what I've seen the tactics will be simple, get the ball down the flanks with plenty waiting to put the ball into the net, will prolific goalscorer Brendy Glackin strike a claim for a first team start against Doncaster? You can certainly bet on 100% effort throughout. There's also the possibility of young Sheridan and Scholes turning out for team. £4 adult, £2 concessions, proper value for money. http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/latics-handed-home-tie-in-fa-youth-cup-first-round-3380860.aspx Edited October 30, 2016 by BP1960
Dave_Og
What are the rules that allow Sheridan and Scholes to turn out? Are they actually registered with the club? Presumably they must be to be eligible for an FA competition.

super_blue
We should turn out in big numbers to show how much we appreciate and get behind good football with lads that want to play for the club! Imagine the encouragment for those lads if 1000+ turned out! Edited October 30, 2016 by super_blue
Dave_Og
They have both played recently for the youth team. Yes, I heard. But a little bizarre? I know that U21 rules allow a couple of over age players but this seems to be taking it a bit far!

BP1960
The peak of my football career was a hat-trick for Friezland School v Scouthead, 1973 Even now you would easily get into the current Latics team up front on that basis.
