Magister
So a caretaker manager takes over from a fans favourite. Turns fortunes around by winning a few games. Becomes a fans favourite instantly. Gets appointed as manager. Gets sacked 4 months later Just saying!

TheBigDog
As an outsider watching Leicester play this season, it seems like they are a poor team destined to struggle at the bottom of the premier league. Given that they won the Premier League (even now that still seems incredible) expectations are naturally high. Leicester's owners obviously demanded better and the manager took the fall. There are a number of potential decent replacements out there with huge experience (international and domestic) who could turn the teams fortunes around. Coleman or Allardyce are linked - either would do a decent job. It's a cutthroat business and no manager is safe after a run of poor results. I personally believe that De Boer was sacked too soon at Palace and hope that Koeman is given more time at Everton - but football is not like that. The situation with Sheridan was not dissimilar- but the telling thing for me with his departure was that he did seem to have lost enthusiasm for the job after a poor start, which led him to make mistakes and miss the obvious. Yes he was unsettled by the bizarre goings on at the club but ultimately he lost the backing of the board/owners Would he have turned it around? We will never know.
