GlossopLatic.

Strange you use the term CEO and FD

I cant recall actually using those positions in previous mails. Why do you divide the two. Is it because you were the book keeper before becoming the CEO.

I was starting to believe I might be wrong but I am beginning to wonder.

Most people commenting on this thread haven't a clue. If you think a Director with no shares or financial input in the club can effect things to a massive disagree are dreaming. I know for a fact Barry has tried to influence from within and make the owner change a number of things in the way he has run the club. Those efforts obviously fell on deaf ears but I also know a number of things Barry has done for the good of the club over the years which has prevented us being in an even worse mess than we are. When the club was facing administration before lockdown i know he worked around the clock to prevent that happening which may well have led to us dropping out of the league. Yes, he made mistakes, he's said that and who doesn't make mistakes. Stop the insults, he's a man who is a Latics fan like the rest of us, he doesn't deserve the insults hes had over the years and more so his family don't. If you are intrigued into what he has or hasn't done go and meet him you might be surprised.

You don’t get it do you?

No cares what he did or didn’t do for the club anymore. It’s history.

What sticks in the throat is his journey and changing attitude to suit his own ends.

He was a fan- got involved with the trust. Realised the position was conflicted, so left the trust and became a director. His mantra then became ‘what the fans have got to realise is’ he defended Corney to the hilt, then AL came on the scene and he slagged Corney off and distanced himself from his tenure.  He then defended our current owner to the hilt (when he now admits he can’t defend him.) His performance at the cricket club was insulting, he must of known how much he were in the shit, and yet he’s taking on fans who dare to question what’s going on. He then gets pushed out, and suddenly- wait for it-  he’s been just a fan along.

Have you ever asked yourself why he kept sticking around when he was dealing with owners that he was ‘trying to influence’ and they wouldn’t listen? Or why he didn’t leave on the umpteen occasions he saw something he didn’t like. .

Because he loved it. He loved the position, the power. Fine.

But please for the love of god- let’s not rewrite history, that he was a rose amongst thorns and a gentle giant who was just a fan made good and was just clinging on to try and save the club in any way he could.

He must think we’re mugs.

So from what I've gathered from this thread, Barry thinks that GlossopLatic is Neil Joy, which isn't true because I'm actually the real GlossopLatic.

And personally I think this barryowen character is really Karl Evans who's just trying to pull the wool over our eyes to direct attention away from Abdallah and Mo.

Finally the real reason that the Bradford allocation is 1000 rather than 2000 is because every fan has an alter-ego, meaning that the original ticket allocation is a fair reflection of the amount of fans we'll take.

Saturday can't come soon enough.

League one forever.

Your criticism is becoming really boring. Please change the record. You are totally wrong with your conclusions of my time at the club.

You appear to be a mind reader . Your summary is completely wrong.

By the way I would also ask you to get your  facts right.

I did not leave the Trust to become a Director. I was already in that position.

I don’t mind you taking me on but please don’t summarise crap about me that you know nothing about.

The trouble is at the Royston Fans Forum is  some had not got their screens to hid behind. Others consumed liquor to get the courage they needed.

Unfortunately that is the truth .I speak my mind and people don’t like that. Many listen but it’s not always the thing they like to hear.

i have done a few forums over the past. Fans socialise with you in a nice manner, then go home and slag you off  on social media with some concocted version of events that never occurred. Now that’s insulting.!!!!!

Have a go but please don’t jump to conclusions you know nothing about.

Worst attempt at Gas-Lighting ever.

How's the police investigation into the North Stand going on Bazza? You know the one that GMP threw out over 12 months ago?

I imagine you should have a shed load of incriminating evidence after being on the board during all that time. By Spectacular coincidence since you left we've made progress on that even reopened the stand.

BTW Matt has asked me to go on the BPAS podcast and give my views as a fan which I've accepted at some point because that's what I am a fan not Neil Joy. One who is pissed off with the way the club is run and I'm well aware that this wasn't purely down to you The Lemsagams Blitz Corney and Gazal are far more responsible here, but by being on the board you were complicit with what was going on under both regimes. Knowone held a gun to your head you were there by choice.

Hardly the "reining it in" that Matt rightly asked for.

Whatever one's views of Barry Owen, and I've criticised him myself in the past, there is no justification at all for that kind of personal abuse.

....and that's that.
