Which striker and which man?

It's Eardley, he went to the Christmas party dressed as Arthur Scargill (he's a big fan apparently) and someone from Cardiff saw him out and about got confused and reported back to Ian Mcgregor ( who's the shadowy power behind the throne there, allegedly,Ridsdale just being the front man ).

Word is he's never been the same since receiving the blow on the head during the 84 strike that knocked him unconscious and since then has been hell bent on reviving king coal believing that Thatch actually told him to save the industry.

So when he got chance to sign Arthur...

You read it here first.

I think he's referring to the fact that the news about playing Burnley is ancient; just as the news about Adam and Eve taking the apple from the Tree of knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden is. Jesus was the answer to that, lets hope Hughes is the answer to the Burnley problem!!

Are you suggesting that Hughes is the son of god? In that case God must be Sir Andrew of Ritchie. Who is the holy spirit? Maybe the bible could be re-written to include this vital update!!
