bossrocks
What about offering Liverpool the chance to host it at Anfield (is that even allowed)?
Senor_Coconut
I doubt it would be cost effective, would take a fair wack to get a safety certificate
pinevillawill
I doubt it would be cost effective, would take a fair wack to get a safety certificate You say that but Chasetown practically built a temporary stadium when they hosted us in the third round a few years ago. If they can do it, why can't we?
bigfatjoe1
I want the sub zero gale force winds and rain to rip into the Premiership tarts. It's our 12th man. Suarez won't know what the hell's hit him when he walks out on to the pitch.
keep_the_faith
Dont be so greedy, drawing 5 times european cup winners at home and your first thoughts are money. Will be fantastic buzz around the town for the next couple weeks, even if it is 3 stands with the best occupied by only scousers, to see and hear a "full" bp will be amazing especually for the younger fans and ones who werent around in the prem year Edited January 6, 2013 by keep_the_faith

Blu-Blood
Put up a temporary stand and shove the Liverpool fans in it....have ALL the RRE for the home fans, and get BP rocking
opinions4u
It can be done. Whether or not it's cost effective is another question. http://www.arenagroup.com/index.php/products/seating/clearview.html
joncurtis199
Surely it must be a problem there is still remnants of the old stand so it's not that simple to just build a temporary thing on top?
Macca
Put Liverpool in the Chaddy and have the main stand and RRE for Oldham. Might not be popular with the chaddy loyalists but it gets more people supporting Oldham in.

Latics_Fanatic
Again I dont think it is allowed..or warranted Only allowed if the other team has a small stadium - i.e. Havant and Waterlooville had to play at Fratton Park a few years ago. JonesyOAFC
Can we just not give the Scousers any tickets? The whiniest, most self pitying and deluded set of wankers in the country. I don't really want to share a stadium with them again tbh.
RobOAFC
Only have to give them 10% of seating don't we? Stick them in the small section of the RRE, whilst Tics have the Chaddy, Main and large section.. Around 9000 seats there which we could fill if it is Liverpool who we play. From Twitter, after a chat with Corney: @MENOAFC: Couple of things on draw. #lfc (if them) will be entitled to large section of RRE and Lookers' paddock cannot be opened for standing. #oafc

Again, Chasetown built on top of terracing. If it wasn't financially viable, temporary stand companies wouldn't exist. The club could make a few hundred thousand if someone pulls their finger out. The club could make a few hundred thousand if someone pulls their finger out. That implies more than 5000 spectators at £20 each before the costs of hire etc. That's bigger than the Lookers , would need toilets etc. We could have a temporary stand but no way make money like that. The club could make a few hundred thousand if someone pulls their finger out. There's probably money to be made, but not that much. Even with a monster 5,000 seat thing you'd gross £100k, allowing for kids prices etc. Deduct the cost, half the proceeds and what's left?
