  1. No foreign satellite channels are covering the Liverpool game. See http://liveonsat.com.
  2. Just phoned the ticket office to book. You must quote ST reference - three to five digit number. They told me all tickets expected to be gone by New Year's Day, next home game after ColU.
  3. I don't know about others, but I am getting my full allocations using all adult and child season tickets, and most will, or pass the voucher to their mate/family/neighbour/work-colleague/man-in-the-pub etc.
  4. Also this time the match being on Sunday afternoon, and not Friday evening, and exciting brand of football we play, we will sell out.
  5. Yes, if it is practically possible. With segregation and crowd safety in mind, we were told last time that was the maximum they could give us.
  6. So unless many of them are kids, if they take the full allocations, there won't be many left for non-ST holders?
  7. £15 one-off activation charge, plus £12 a month subscription (one-month minimum). Or if you know of a subscriber, or BT Broadband customer, their log-in details will get you streaming online on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
  8. No such luck: http://liveonsat.com/los__FT_br_eng_ALL.php The only other game not shown live in UK but in some other countries is Man City vs Swansea City.
  9. And that stomach-churning feeling as RRE rocks and away fans spill over.
  10. For the rest of the season plus option for the next.
  11. Yes, I quite agree. Chopping and changing a team that still hasn't quite gelled is asking for trouble. We are losing because of basic errors creeping in, and not being able to close out a game and conceding in last few minutes. This always happens with talented, young teams. Can play great football, but dropping clangers at crucial moments, which experienced opposition players take full advantage of.
  12. They don't take cash at turnstiles so you have to buy your ticket (cash only) from away ticket booth next to away entrance, located on Hollins Road (NE corner).
  13. "13.4 In the event of the scores being level at the end of ninety minutes' play in Rounds One, Two, Three, Four and Five an extra half-hour shall be played. If the tie is still undecided after extra time, the winners shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the Laws of Association Football." http://www.capitalonecup.co.uk/competition/rules/
  14. Try Clayton Green pub car park. £5 on matchday, but fully redeemable against food and drink in the pub. Usually full of away fans, but have never seen any hassle and usually a rapid getaway. If you are early (around 2 pm), usually plenty of free places on the street outside (no restrictions where there is no yellow line).
  15. If you look like 25, photo ID, and if you are on the dole, something like JSA award letter?
  16. Just come back. Strange sort of game. Started at 100 mph, hassled, won back possessions, with some dangerous balls into the box, Smith and Croft linking well. Their keeper made a couple of fine saves. How Grounds missed the sitter at the start of 2nd half nobody knows. Then a very unlucky hand ball. We chased the game without much quality admittedly, and the second goal was a gamble that didn't pay off. The players looked shattered at the end, and a good many tics stayed behind to clap their efforts. It should have been 0-0.
  17. Ever since Westhulme Avenue started getting dodgy with break-ins or just mindless vandalism (luckily mine hadn't been done), I started parking near Clayton Green, either paying refundable £5 in pub car park or, if early enough, on the road outside. Nil problems, well lit, often bouncers outside and quick getaway.
  18. Now on fishul. Inspection brought forward to 10 am because of concern over frozen pitch.
