  1. No official words, but Gordon Taylor of PFA said a L1 club was signing him tomorrow and online petition against the move already gathered 8,000 names.
  2. Blackpool's majority shareholder is a convicted rapist (Owen Oyston or OO) and that didn't stop them becoming everyone's favourite second team in Premier League. Its demise since is another matter, though.
  3. Perhaps the club is changing the home and away shirts for next season?
  4. Other than watching other teams play. Some tasty FA Cup actions like Wombles vs (banana-skin) Liverpool. January sales?
  5. But only 30 miles from Oldham over Woodhead Pass (if it's open).
  6. I suppose both clubs thought getting extra day's rest/training would be beneficial, and weekday night game isn't too inconvenient for supporters as the distance isn't great.
  7. Also Oldham fans are a loyal lot, and while many no longer live in or around Oldham (if they ever did), they still want to support them and turn up for away games, which are often easier to get to than BP.
  8. Or on youtube. Obviously delighted, my team played well and took their chances. Very complimentary about us, dangerous, can open up teams and are up there on 30 points on merit. Sure Lee can cope with defeat, they are a good team and will kick on after this setback.
  9. Listen to post-match interview on Latics Player. He takes responsibility for himself as manager but also blames some players for not delivering.
  10. But it would be the same if it were Lee who was facing the sack. Professional game can be a cruel thing. There is no room for sentiments.
  11. I think this is going to be another tough game. Many managers seem to have sussed out how we play so come with a game plan to frustrate us, force us to play early with high ball into the box which is meat for giant defenders. And hit us with a quick break.
  12. There are no Premier League games as all the teams are in FAC3. And Sky don't show FAC ties (BT Sports and BBC). So more Spanish La Liga games (some Continental countries are in winter break) perhaps? Other than us vs Dale, they will be a handful of other L1 and L2 games (not yet confirmed).
  13. Gary won't fall into that trap and will have his team wholly focused on beating us. Remember they are fighting against relegation.
  14. Being a seaside location, Fleetwood games don't get called off as often as more inland grounds. Sea air often keeps the temperature above freezing and snow doesn't usually stick around. Unless we get tons of it as it happened a few winters ago.
  15. Stadium:MK has undersoil heating. But if it gets very icy in the surrounding areas, postponement is still likely.
  16. I too thought it was an ominous comment by LJ. He must be seething being outfought by an average L1 side. Maybe docking wages (not that we pay them particularly well).
  17. Seats all gone. Standing selling well so looks like there may not be enough for even season ticket holders who want to go. You should get your tickets ASAP.
  18. Just bought mine. Last seats sold. Said standing tickets selling well. Maybe 400 left? Will definitely sell out before general sale.
  19. Glad I asked them to keep my seat tickets aside for later today.
  20. So nearly 40% sold with still two home games left. It looks like selling out before general sale.
  21. Just rang ticket office. They've sold about 350. If you phone them, they will set aside the number of tickets you want for Saturday, when you can go and pay for them with vouchers either before or after the cup tie.
  22. Or even in Oldham (metrolink). I think the new Blackpool tram costs in excess of two million each, a high tech version built in Germany.
