  1. Try to get there by 1.30 pm and park as close as possible to the main Manningham Road. Avoid parking very near to the ground because of post-match congestion and possible vamdalism.
  2. For FA Cup replay against Bury: Adults £15 Concessions (over 60, under 16) £10. On Bradford City site.
  3. 4th round at home to dirty Leeds. Wished they played us!
  4. £15 for seniors (aged 60+) and students is good.
  5. The same room is now £32 saver rate, £35 flexible. Still great value.
  6. Travelodge South Shore, minutes from the ground, has £29 family room sleeping four for the match day: https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/357/Blackpool-South-Shore-hotel Or pay £3 more for cancellable booking.
  7. I like Tuesday evening match at Bloomfield Road! 10 min from home.
  8. Can anyone give an update on the situation in and around BP? There may be a little rain tomorrow but Monday is expected to be dry. So hopefully any surface water will have drained away by kick-off time. We badly need a game and a win!
  9. Almost every game in Lancashire (new definition) called off.
  10. No chance of being on honestly. It's been p***ing down all day, much heavier than in Oldham where I was at teatime. Huge puddles on many roads too.
  11. Well, they played the last home game against the Posh on a very wet day but the pitch stood up.
  12. There should be plenty of free street parking, given the general boycott by home fans till Oystons leave. Try Central Drive near the ground first, should be ok till about 2 pm. Then side streets off it, but be mindful of local residents (no resident parking scheme in operation).
  13. Yes, there is a small hut near the North Stand entrance that sells away tickets on the day, at the same price. I think it's cash only.
  14. Went to Blackpool ticket office today about something and the girl said Latics asked for full allocations of 2,500 but only sold 1/4 which is 'disgusting'. I wonder how many Oyston-hating seasiders will come to Sportsdirect.com park in Feb?
  15. Rang ticket office yesterday and they said tickets will be available from away ticket office at Bloomfield Road as well, same price.
  16. Looks more likely as Millwall's league game opponent on 9th January is Scunthorpe United which have just beaten Leyton 3-0 and will be in FA Cup 3rd round away to Chelsea.
  17. Best street parking near the ground is acrually along Central Drive, which has no particular restrictions like resident parking, other than some traffic cones and double yellow lines. If you are there by about 2 pm, there should be enough space. Some of the side streets off Central Drive are possibilities, again no resident parking but be considerate to locals. After the match you can try to join Seasiders Way off Waterloo Road (with Aldi on the corner), or just get on Bloomfield Road or Waterloo Road going east, which eventually join Preston New Road (watch out for active 30 mph speed cameras) and M55.
  18. At the previous round, at home to Worcester City, tickets were made available at away ticket office prior to kick-off, cash only. But announcemnet was only made the day before. Don't know if Latics tickets are made available, whether season ticket concessions will apply.
  19. But there is a genuine chance of outnumbering the home fans, as many have been boycotting the club until the Oystons leave. Their attendance figure is a joke, as they count all season tickets sold whether anyone turns up or not. Try to get into the North stand (behind the goal), as that's where the away fans are usually accommodated. East (temporary) stand is only opened when the demand warrants so only for overspill.
  20. But the ground isn't very cold (because of mild weather recently) so any snow/sleet will quickly melt. It's not like the middle of January during a prolonged cold spell, with sub-zero temprature every night.
  21. Well, lowly Fleetwood (below us in the league) beat the Blades on penalties in JPT tonight.
  22. We do rather well there. Draw highly possible and replay at home.
  23. Weather report? Don't think any danger of the match being postponed but want to be suitably dressed.
  24. Coming from Blackpool, I usually arrive by 1.30 pm and park on Edenfield Road near the ground facing west. Then it's a quick getaway after the game towards Edenfield and join M66 north and M65, or turn off towards Bamford, join Rochdale Old Road to Bury and join M66 south and M60.
