Iv heard Gannon a few times on radio/tv interviews in the last couple of years and always thought the guys a bit of a c*ck (he'd fit right in with some of the moaners at BP lol) That said, i dont think anyone can knock what he's done at county on next to nothing. He's proved he can cut it in this division with a young squad. I'd much prefer Gannon over Ritchie/Ince/Jewell

Since being booted out of walsall for 'serious breaches of club discipline' he's had unsuccesful trials with palace, charlton, leeds and southend.

Heard it a couple of weeks ago, then again yesterday. If Charlton were relegated and with the financial trouble there in, most of their first team are off... BFJ's interested as they worked together at Ipswich, and i think (could be wrong) he's from Bury. Just wondered if anyone else has heard it.

Saw him twice for the reserves, looked decent but both times he faded badly... looks like he lacks stamina (and that’s at reserve level)

Right, so the trust step aside a new investor comes in, splashes the cash, we don’t get promoted, he puts up ticket prices, the crowds drop, he gets bored and buggers off... = a very bleak future (if there is one) for the club... I dont get it... After the Cheltenham game most people said the season was over anyway, so why is everybody crying about it now? Hughes hasn’t looked the slightest bit interested since he wasn’t allowed to leave in Jan and since then has scored 3 goals. Joe Royle wanted to look at some of the younger players (something which shez got slated for not doing) and different partnerships upfront which meant paying Hughes £1500 or what ever per week to train and sit on the bench. He was never going to sign the new contract to keep him here, so we withdrew it! I'd have thought it would have been Lee in for the criticism after showing no loyalty after us taking the flack for signing him in the first place. Not questioning the owners/managers ambition. Some people need to get real! I dont see what the problem is, he wasn’t performing, he wasn’t going to be here next year so we've let him move on!

Iv suggested him on threads before... Exactly what we need, a battering ram type striker! they have most of there 1st team out of contact in the summer, if he's one of them i'd be straight in there. I think he's there penalty taker tho, so id be interested to see how many of his goals were penalties
