  1. totally agree.........but with alan `don`t panic` hardy as our main negotiation man.............no chance........never has happened.........never will !!!!!!!
  2. same here...........and marc tierney was quality at full back......shame he left too.
  3. dunno exactly why???......... but something tells me 2010/11 is gonna be a good season for us. welcome to b.p mr p.d
  4. first of all, as i have posted many times both on here and on the old m.board.......i always have, and always will be, pro standing at footy grounds....... wether it be for a few hundred, or a few thousand, if that`s what you wanna do at your fav footy teams ground you should have a right to do it. although this govt report is predictable in it`s response, it still riles me to not be given a choice in this so called `democratic country`......it`s dictatorial and a load of hypocritical, nanny state bollox.
  5. nice one johnny........ i wonder if dangerous dave has clicked to this yet ??? probably not........as it has an unwelcome tendency to scupper his all out containment plans !!!
  6. in addition............ i have lost count now of the amount of times this season were we have had a negative result , and on the same weekend, the so called sh-ite around us have cocked their result up as well. in this sense, he has been very lucky indeed on at least 5 occasions..........we could so easily have been in even more deeeeep she-ite than we are now. just coz we`re latics, we do not have a divine right to stay up........penny may well prove the this point to be true!!!.
  7. i wonder if they had catheters/ incontinence pads fitted before they started the hug !!!!! ?????
  8. sounds like `white lines` are going through your mind.........baby!!
  9. the point is that tta`s will and can afford to sit tight for as long as it takes.....they have tried to capitalise a on couple of occasions but cocked up their timing badly and/or were hindered by o.m.b.c who have always wanted to get their dirty little mits on it. if you truly beleive your own signature to be the gospel according to simon corney then you have been easily taken in my friend. no-one in their right mind would `honestly` p*ss that much money against the wall and be so angelic about it........think about it???
  10. you`ll see in time.........you can`t now, but you will. try reading the original post again, but this time with your pure `business head` on. it is a fact not conspiracy, unless of course you are one of far too many tics who truly believe that tta`s are the purest of purest trio who joined us only to spread their infinite love and charitableness to all connected to b.park forever and ever?? no....i knew you wasn`t !!
  11. i knew you`d come on board, and i knew you knew it too !!
  12. don`t you see??...........the whole value of the site is the fact it`s not `in oldham`........it`s perfectly connected to millions of people within a half hour or less journey by car. it will happen........and our club will just `tick over` in the meantime.
  13. there is still time for a huge brand/multinational to dwarf that titchy `M` sign and tta`s know this and will patiently wait.
  14. assuming tta`s own B.park and it`s surrounds...... ok , tricky at the moment given todays economy, but either way you look at it, the boundary park site continues to have what tta`s could clearly see it had from the off, huge money making potential. whoever owns it, it is patently clear that if they play their cards right and keep the football team who occupy it ticking over for long enough, there is at some point a huge wedge to be made out of what is the first thing you see as you leave the A627(m), which just happens to be a mere stonesthrow in length before connecting directly to the most significant motorway artery in the whole north west. i for one remain sceptical and realistic as to what the "long haul" motives of tta`s actually mean in real business terms. many of `the faithful` may gratefully interpret this to mean `our saviours are doing what they do first and foremost for the us the fans and the club`. although i think this is partly true, i personally do not think that such a nice sentiment is the top of their list in terms of `true motive`. i certainly don`t think keeping our `spiritual home` where it is, matters to them in any way, unless of course, another way to realise it`s full real estate value in it`s present location presents itself again( which could still happen). this post is an attempt to highlight what i believe to be the most significant factor which dictates all present day issues affecting our beloved club since tta`s took over. it is the unique location of our clubs ground that keeps tta`s where they are. a proper `dangly carrot` for any multi-millionare that one. anyone get my drift ??
  15. re : my last post............. please don`t let it be o.m.b.c who own the ground !!!! anyone but them ......coz bad trouble will certainly await us at some point if they do !!
  16. excellent work lads.....your efforts and time are much appreciated. is it possible to find out/reveal exactly who or what our beloved boundary park now belongs to??
  17. although i`m oldham born and bred...... for over twenty years i`ve kept close with several friends in failsworth .......and i`ve met many friends of there`s from the nearby area/s , woodhouses/moston/newton heath/miles platting....etc.........and in my humble experience, geography aside, as the cliche goes, they are no different to you or me ........it`s true !! but you would be very hard pushed to find one of them who even remotely thinks of themselves as anything other than `mancunian`. example : whilst we in oldham go `up town` ie: into oldham town centre........they as failsworth/mancunians go `into town` ie: into manchester....it`s just the way it is.....it`s a fact. it`s a whole different mindset just past where the owd roxy used to be.......the accent difference and culture change within a fifty yard stretch of when hollinwood turns into `failswurf` is living proof of it!!!. as far as the majority of folk i`ve met there are concerned, they are from failswurf in manchestaw.... `end of` for them. it is this little bell which most latics fans can clearly hear at some level of consciousness......and given the above, it just isn`t ringing right regarding the proposed stadium move.
  18. daring dave`s `target area` is obviously very narrow still.......... all he seems to see is old familiars..........it`s like he doen`t have much of any other clue as to what`s out there ??
  19. blimey !! you brainy bugger !!! what a dark horse !!! given as a compliment of course !!
  20. barry , as a latics fan of many years, i would much appreciate an answer to what i think is a very important question regarding your original post. have you posted it independently, off your own bat, without the three amigos knowledge of it ??
  21. sorry for gaps........battery on keyboard playing up !!
